Renovation of a classic Minneapolis bungalow included this family bathroom. An adjacent closet was converted to a walk-in glass shower and small sinks allowed room for two vanities. The mirrored wall and simple palette helps make the room feel larger. Playful accents like cow head towel hooks from CB2 and custom children's step stools add interest and function to this bathroom. The hexagon floor tile was selected to be in keeping with the original 1920's era of the home.
This bathroom used to be tiny and was the only bathroom on the 2nd floor. We chose to spend the budget on making a very functional family bathroom now and add a master bathroom when the children get bigger. Amazing Kitchen and Bathroom Transformation!
-------------HIGHLIGHTS ----------
*Extreme heat resistance – Perfect for countertops! Don’t worry about melting your porcelain slab if you need to put down a hot pan straight from the stove. It’s a great surface material for performing all of your temperature-based tasks without having to be concerned with wear or tear.
*Stain-free–it’s almost impossible to stain porcelain. Whereas with marble or quartzite, you risk nasty stains every time you spill dark liquids or food items on it. Even just a touch can cause permanent damage. But the same cannot be said for porcelain, which can be cleaned in a jiffy and will not absorb or resorb stainable substances.
*Will, not scratch or wear – It’s super difficult to cause any scratches or chips on a porcelain surface. Unless it were to be rammed by a bulldozer, it can’t be hurt. Anything from dropping a kitchen knife to resting heavy bricks upon it will not cause it to crack or wear down. It’s invincible compared to the caution you must exercise when dealing with a marble surface.

Designing a whole home remodel for a client’s second home was an exciting opportunity to create a space that felt both welcoming and timeless. The clients wanted a space that felt light, bright, and timeless. We focused on an open-concept layout, maximizing natural light and incorporating soft, neutral tones that complemented the desert landscape. The main showstopper of the home was the kitchen, which the family considered the heart of the home. Featuring high-end finishes, the kitchen became a space for both cooking and gathering, designed for both functionality and elegance. Thoughtful touches, such as custom cabinetry, integrated appliances, and custom hood, helped elevate the entire space, making it a true focal point. With a thoughtful blend of modern design and classic touches, the remodel was tailored to ensure the space could grow with the family and become a place they would cherish and enjoy for years to come.

This sleek, kitchen abuts a modern mix of glass wall cabinets and high gloss laquer flat paneled cabinetry with the focal point directed to the intricate mosaic tiles the homeowner fell in love with. The best appliances for the chef of the home nothing less than Subzero Wolf. The dining area is enhanced with hammered metal table with abundance of windows with perfectly paired swivel chairs to share as you take on the day.

This client was looking to create a guest bathroom that had more of an "East Coast" feel. The vanity has inset doors and drawers. Wainscoting was added around the entire bathroom. The pony wall was added to the tub to accommodate fixtures to be within reach. One niche was added above the tub and another was added in the shower (away from view). The flooring is a porcelain tile with a wood grain pattern, applied over a full mortar bed and a heating system—perfect for a cold winter morning.

A Well-Designed Kitchen Can Increase the Value of Your Home
The quality and design of the kitchen you install in your home can have an impact on the re-sale value of your property. Investing in a high-quality and well-designed kitchen will not only make your life easier, but you can also expect to get a better price for your home should you wish to sell it in the future. In fact, a new kitchen is listed as one of the top renovations in terms of the ROI.
No matter which part of the home you’re re-decorating, it’s crucial that you pay attention to good design principles. Creating a good design strategy is even more important in kitchen design. The kitchen is now the most important room in the home. In the past, kitchens were simply a place to prepare and eat food, but in modern times the kitchen is the heart of the family home. Our kitchens will often act as a social area, cooking area and a dining room as well as a general living space. This is why good design is so important when planning a kitchen.
