A small galley kitchen in a standard LA home is a common sight in Los Angeles.
The wall between the laundry room and the kitchen was removed to create one big open space.
The placement of all large appliances ( Fridge, Washer\Dryer and Double oven) on a single full height built-in cabinets wall opened up all the rest of the space to be more airy and practical.
The custom made cabinets are in a traditional manner with white finish and some glass doors to allow a good view of the good chinaware.
The floors are done with wood looking tile and color matched to the dark oak floors of the rest of the house to create a continuality of colors.
The backsplash is comprised of two different glass tiles, the larger pieces as the main tile and a small brick glass as the deco line.
The counter top is finished with a beveled edge for a touch of modern look.

After water damage left the existing kitchen in need of replacement, our customers in Holden, Massachusetts, turned to NE Cabinet for a fresh start. Jake, our head designer, went on site to take precise measurements and get a sense of the current layout. He created a few 3D design options, including potential layout changes to help the kitchen align with their busy lifestyle.
They also wanted to bring the cabinet style into this era. The original cabinetry was a dark cherry wood color, and the customer wanted a brighter option that was not stark white. After toying with varying beige and greige options for the cabinets, they chose Fabuwood Fusion Oyster cabinets, crisp white quartz countertops, and elegant brass hardware for a warm, sophisticated look.
The soft Oyster finish creates a timeless neutral foundation, while the white countertops brighten the space and the brass hardware adds a refined finishing touch. Together, these selections create a cohesive kitchen design that feels welcoming, elevated, and modern.
At NE Cabinet, we help homeowners throughout Massachusetts transform their kitchens with thoughtfully selected cabinetry and personalized design support. From cabinet selection to creating a cohesive finished look, our goal is to help each homeowner find the right balance of style, function, and value.
Planning a kitchen remodel or replacing cabinets after water damage? NE Cabinet serves homeowners and contractors throughout the North Shore and Greater Boston area, offering cabinetry solutions for renovations, remodels, and new construction.

Our clients were looking to build an income property for use as a short term rental in their backyard. In order to keep maximize the available space on a limited footprint, we designed the ADU around a spiral staircase leading up to the loft bedroom. The vaulted ceiling gives the small space a much larger appearance.
To provide privacy for both the renters and the homeowners, the ADU was set apart from the house with its own private entrance.
The design of the ADU was done with local Pacific Northwest aesthetics in mind, including green exterior paint and a mixture of woodgrain and metal fixtures for the interior.
Durability was a major concern for the homeowners. In order to minimize potential damages from renters, we selected quartz countertops and waterproof flooring. We also used a high-quality interior paint that will stand the test of time and clean easily.
The end result of this project was exactly what the client was hoping for, and the rental consistently receives 5-star reviews on Airbnb.

This was a standard screen porch addition but the client wanted a durable floor for the exterior conditions. We added a wood grain tile flooring to give the soft feel of wood with the durability of tile.
Wood grain tile is becoming more of an alternative for situations like this or for houses on slab concrete foundations that want to have a wood floor look.

This remodel transforms three small, crowded rooms into an expansive, open kitchen connecting directly onto a new backyard deck. The coziness of a former breakfast nook is re-created with a built-in bench with discreet storage, and a pre-existing island is re-imagined with a new marble surface and complementary marble slab installed above the counters. The new modern kitchen, combines bamboo, white, and glass cabinet materials and integrates an original Wedgewood range stove providing a spacious, open environment.
Outside, the new deck design addresses a previous basement flooding problem and brings together the upper and lower floors with a floating “crow’s nest” balcony, maximizing available outdoor space for use by both couples. To avoid the need for a support post, the balcony is supported by steel beams cantilevered into the house itself. Its custom rail system is galvanized steel and stainless steel cable, leaving as much space open as possible, and a steel awning overhead protects the new door from potential rain damage. The deck itself, as well as its railings and trellis structure, are built in durable ipe, a smooth barefoot-friendly hardwood. Stairs and seating create a smooth transition from the elevated deck down into the yard, where the new owners installed flagstones and setup their own bee hives.

Our client Neel decided to renovate his master bathroom since it felt very outdated. He was looking to achieve that luxurious look by choosing dark color scheme for his bathroom with a touch of brass. The look we got is amazing. We chose a black vanity, toilet and window frame and painted the walls black.
