This 3,850-square-foot single-family home in New Jersey exemplifies modern design and architectural ingenuity. Built on a tight lot with stringent zoning regulations, the project posed unique challenges that were met with innovative solutions to deliver a truly remarkable residence tailored for modern home enthusiasts.
The home’s design embraces open spaces filled with natural light, creating a seamless integration between indoor and outdoor living. A thoughtful combination of materials—concrete, stucco, wood, and glass—come together to craft a sleek yet inviting aesthetic. Each material was carefully selected and positioned to enhance the overall structure and functionality of the house while contributing to its contemporary appeal.
One of the standout architectural features includes impressive cantilevers that not only enhance the home’s visual impact but also address complex structural challenges with sophistication. These bold design choices create a feeling of weightlessness and add to the dynamic character of the residence.
Despite the tight lot constraints, the layout maximizes every corner of the space without compromising comfort or style. A practical yet elegant floor plan ensures a sense of openness and fluidity throughout, providing ample areas for family living, entertaining, and relaxation.
This project demonstrates that thoughtful design and strategic engineering can overcome restrictive site limitations and zoning challenges to deliver a home that is both functional and stunningly modern. It is a testament to the possibilities of modern architecture and a celebration of creativity, engineering, and craftsmanship.

In this meticulously executed kitchen remodeling project, we transformed the space into a stunning open-plan design. Walls were skillfully removed, creating a seamless flow and maximizing the sense of openness. The centerpiece of the renovation is a spacious, well-crafted island that not only enhances functionality but also serves as a focal point, combining aesthetics with practicality. The attention to detail and thoughtful design choices make this kitchen a harmonious blend of beauty and functionality.
In addition to the structural enhancements, this comprehensive kitchen remodel extends to the flooring, where luxurious vinyl planks have been seamlessly integrated, elevating both style and durability. The project also involved a modernization of the electrical infrastructure, with the meticulous replacement of outdated wiring and fixtures. A new ceiling, adorned with energy-efficient LED recessed lighting, further enhances the ambiance, providing both aesthetic appeal and functional illumination to complement the transformed space. This multifaceted approach ensures that every aspect of the kitchen aligns with contemporary design standards and functional efficiency.

We had the pleasure of working with these homeowners, in collaboration with Vesta Homes LLC, to transform their Mount Juliet home into a more stylish and functional space. For this part of the project, our goal was to update the primary bathroom with a timeless traditional style infused with a subtle contemporary touch, (also called transitional style). The homeowners envisioned a calming palette of muted creams and off-whites, and we brought that vision to life with a thoughtful design plan. By reimagining the floor plan and maximizing storage, we created a bathroom that feels both beautiful and practical. Our clients couldn't be happier with the results!

A complete full gut remodel of a 4,000 sq ft two-story penthouse residence, this project featured one of a kind views of the Boston public garden and Beacon Hill. A large central gallery flooded with gorgeous diffused light through two full stories of window glass. Clean linear millwork details compliment the structural glass, steel and walnut balustrades and handrailings that grace the upper gallery, reading nook, and stairs. A bleached walnut wet bar with backlit honey onyx backsplash and floating star fire glass shelves illuminated the lower gallery. It was part of a larger motif, which resonated through each of the unique and separate living spaces, connecting them to the larger design intention.
A bleached walnut media room doubles as a fourth bedroom. It features a king size murphy bed seamlessly integrated into the full wall panel. A gracious shower in the adjoining bathroom, cleverly concealed behind an innocuous interior door, created a truly unique formal powder room that can reveal a full bath when the house is full of guests. A blend of warm wood, soft whites, and a palate of golds reflected in the stone (calacatta/onyx) textiles and wall coverings, this project demonstrates the powerful results of a consistent design intention, thoughtful engineering, and best practice construction as executed by our talented team of craftsmen and women.

Story: The kitchen is the core of this home, belonging to a family who loves to cook. The house is adorned with characteristics of the early 1940’s including a flagstone foyer, original woodwork and trim as well as leaded windows. Finding the right mix of classic and current was important, especially in maintaining an open concept plan. The end result was kitchen that seamlessly joined a family room ultimately creating a space for everyday family life.
Style: a modern take on a classic style. The space is home to warm tones, clean, linear elements and professional appliances.
Materials: The kitchen features painted white Kemper cabinets, high end appliances including Miele and Sub Zero, Cambria quartz countertops and Daltile product backsplash.
Challenges: This project had its own set of unique challenges. There were vast differences in ceiling heights, large HVAC ducts and pipes to be hidden and entrances to the garage to be observed and maintained. The large central column housing the refrigerator, bookshelves and pantries is actually constructed to hide a chase and other various pipes. It was the unique mix of aesthetics and practical install that made the kitchen such a great space.
