ouble the bathroom trouble in this 1990’s home … solved with this Sosna renovation!
Our clients, empty-nesters desiring the peace and ease of retirement, were instead frustrated and exhausted with leaky bathroom plumbing from a previous renovation that would just not go away.
Their Shared Bathroom, renovated by their friend years ago, was not done correctly, causing repetitive leaking with damage to their Kitchen ceiling below. They had had enough of trying to fix it themselves. To say this couple was leery of hiring another renovator was an understatement.
But they also knew it was time to fix this problem and decided to update their Master Bathroom while they were at it.
Our initial plan included minimal demolition by re-organizing the walls between the 2 Bathrooms and keeping the existing plumbing rough-ins in place, while updating the fixtures.
However, unwelcome surprises are sometimes inevitable in renovations. Even though we conducted a thorough investigation during the planning stage, we were faced with plumbing in the Shared Bathroom that was not done correctly and may even have been illegal.
Because of this, relocating the rough-ins in the Shared Bathroom were necessary after all, which then meant re-planning the walls in between the 2 Bathrooms.
These are exactly the kinds of problems we love to solve. Why? Because we know that we’re not just fixing the physical problems that can be seen; we know we are also restoring this family’s faith in quality craftsmanship and good service, and that it’s possible to enjoy the renovation process.
This is why we don’t vary from our tried and true Renovating the Sosna Way™ process.
Because it works. For everyone.
For the Masons, we ended up renovating two bathrooms and completing a number of smaller projects that were causing them great pain to find a renovator for.
At the end of the day, we have another happy client. The Masons have two new bathrooms that better fit their life stage and style, and the “Honey-Do” list is empty!
When you and your home are ready for an upgrade, we're the Renovator You Can Count On™. It's our promise. Contact us to get started!

Built in 1907 and nestled into the beating heart of San Fran’s Bernal Heights neighbourhood, this adorable abode was an unpolished gem ready to be turned into our clients’ dream home.
Our mission was to gift Bonview with classic, natural and timeless style while setting it up with impressive functionality so that it was ready to be the pet-friendly, kid-friendly and entertaining-friendly home they needed it to be. Mission accepted!
Our clients’ vision was clear: They wanted whites, blacks and wood tones with texture and personality. Oh, and that spunky wine fridge? Yep, that was a non-negotiable. ?
“It’s not unusual for our friends and family to drop past unannounced any day of the week. And we love it!” They told us during our initial Design Therapy Sesh.
We knew immediately what she meant - we have an open-door policy with our families, too! Which was why we consciously created living spaces that were open, inviting and welcoming.
Now, the only problem our clients would have would be convincing their guests to leave!
Our clients also enjoyed cooking and baking casually, so we created an organized, intuitive and functional kitchen and pantry that made whipping up homemade dips and snacks for their game nights a breeze.

For this kitchen remodeling project, the homeowners were looking to open up their kitchen and give it a more contemporary look. We removed the cabinets over the existing island to really open up the space. We next tore out all the existing cabinets to get the space ready for their new cabinets and island. For the kitchen cabinets, they went with an oak simple shaker door in a white color, while the island was done in an oak mission door in a cashew stain. To really make the kitchen stand out, they went with a quartz Vivalioro countertop with a waterfall edge for the island. To finish this new look, they chose a 4” x 6” arctic white matte backsplash, floating shelves and a farm sink. Now this is the dream kitchen they have been hoping for.

Our clients contacted us to help them give their kitchen a much-needed update. They were looking to get more storage space out of their new cabinets as well. We tore out the old cabinets, backsplash and countertop to get the space ready. For the new cabinets, they went with a shaker door in a pure white color and the cabinets were extended to the ceiling. Next, we installed a new Calacatta Rain Gold quartz countertop and a 3x6 white bevel subway tile backsplash. We also added many storage solution items like base cabinet pull outs and a cutlery divider. Gold accents and a new custom hood were the finishing touches to this stunning transformation.

Here's what our client had to say about this project which is taken from our review page:
All Square has completed Phase 1 of an expected 3 phase whole house renovation of our lake home, and we are beyond thrilled with the results. We were demanding clients – my husband is an engineer by education and a program manager by profession, so he is very detailed, exacting and demanding. We solicited bids from 3 other general contractors before engaging All Square, but Micah Purvis won our confidence that he and his team could make our dream a reality. Micah is a master communicator, clear, detailed and pro-active in his approach to problems.
We were very happy with all the All Square employees who worked on our job – Daniel and Austin were great and a pleasure to have around – but most especially Justin Solomon, truly a jack of all trades. If there is something Justin can’t do or a skill he doesn’t possess, we aren’t aware of it. Justin was as reliable as the sun, here first thing every morning, troubleshooting problems, dealing with all the sub-contractors and making invaluable structural and design suggestions that made the finished product all the better. I honestly miss having Justin around and our dogs miss him too!
It is obvious that All Square has worked hard to identify and nurture relationships with quality tradesmen and a few of them really stand out for their superior work – Mike (stonemason), Jeremiah Cook (painter) and Michael Stewart (electrician).
When we are ready to begin Phase 2 of the renovation, there is no doubt that we will call Micah and All Square to do the work. We are so happy with our renovation and grateful that we made the right decision to entrust our forever home to All Square.

We recently had the pleasure of transforming this kitchen with a stunning refacing project! Our client wanted a fresh, modern look, and we delivered with a beautiful combination of Stratus White Shaker doors for the upper cabinets and Aloe SuperMatte for the lower cabinets and pantry. To complete the transformation, the countertops were replaced with quartz in Fairy White, adding a touch of elegance and durability to this gorgeous kitchen. We also enhanced functionality by modifying several cabinets to create additional drawer stacks and customized the pantry with full-width rollouts, making it easier than ever to access everything they need. The result? A kitchen that's as functional as it is beautiful! Our homeowner is absolutely thrilled with their newly remodeled space, and we're so grateful to have been part of this transformation.
