A dear client who resides in Mcallen-TX requested a Full Backyard Design including a pool, outdoor kitchen, firepit, edible garden, art, and a secluded area for quiet reading and privacy among other structures and hardscape.
We proceeded with the design process virtually due to his location being away from The Woodlands, TX. The client filled a questionnaire with specific questions regarding his site nature, style, and needs. He sent photos of the existing landscape, survey, and photos from the house interior that would help us match his modern style to his outdoor space.
We were very pleased to present our planting and construction drawings with 3D walk-thru video in a videoconference. All plans were sent to this client to start the building process at his own pace. He certainly loved the modern space we were able to create for him!

Hi Lindsay, I’m excited to share my vision for your office space. My goal was to create a moody, trendy, and classy space that aligns with your style and needs. The color palette in this design features a neutral base as the foundation, with black walls and accents of brown, cream, rust, and gold for depth and character. Key furniture pieces include the burlwood desk with a chunky base to help hide cords, and a modern black bookcase chosen for it’s style and functionality. Lighting will balance ambiance and practicality, with funky brass wall sconces and a small shelf lamp on the bookcase. To complete the look, I’ve selected chairs that are funky and modern and that can be shopped in person, as well as a gallery wall of portraits per your request. The layout and thoughtfully chosen furniture pieces ensure clear flow and maximized functionality in your small office space. I also wanted to acknowledge your comments about possibly adding decorative molding. Yes, peel and stick molding does exist however, will all the other pieces you requested, you can see that the room filled up fast and it doesn’t feel like anything is lacking. However, if you still want to see what molding will look like, I’d be happy to add that for you in the revision process!

This fun and stylish bathroom features Sherwin-Williams “Slate Tile" SW 7624 on Dura Supreme’s Hawthorne door style. This elegant blue/gray paint color is subtle, calm, and inspiring. This color was selected for Dura Supreme’s 2017-2018 Curated Color Collection. Dura Supreme’s Curated Color Collection is a collection of cabinet paint colors that are always fresh, current and reflective of popular color trends for home interiors and cabinetry. This offering of colors is continuously updated as color trends shift.
Painted cabinetry is more popular than ever before and the color you select for your home should be a reflection of your personal taste and style. Our Personal Paint Match Program offers the entire Sherwin-William’s paint palette and Benjamin Moore’s paint palette, over 5,000 colors, for your new kitchen or bath cabinetry.
Color is a highly personal preference for most people and although there are specific colors that are considered “on trend” or fashionable, color choices should ultimately be based on what appeals to you personally. Homeowners often ask about color trends and how to incorporate them into newly designed or renovated interiors. And although trends and fashion should be taken into consideration, that should not be the only deciding factor. If you love a specific shade of green, select complementing neutrals and coordinating colors to create an entire palette that will remain an everlasting classic. It could be something as simple as being able to select the perfect shade of white that complements the countertop and tile and works well in a specific lighting situation. Our new Personal Paint Match system makes that process so much easier.

Reminiscent of softly weathered wood, Dura Supreme’s Weathered collection of finishes looks as if it has been exposed to years of sun, wind and rain. Like an old drift fence, tumbled driftwood, or seasoned barn planks; each of Dura Supreme’s Weathered finishes portrays wood that has been exposed to the elements.
Dura Supreme’s special finishing process raises the grain to expose swirls and patterns with a uniquely textured surface. The wood is then lightly distressed by hand to replicate age and wear. After staining, glaze is applied to highlight the grain and then lightly buffed on edges and around knots to reveal the stain color shown. Because each cut of wood is unique, every Weathered finish is a one-of-a-kind rendition that appears to have been aged and worn by time itself.
Dura Supreme’s Weathered finish collection includes an array of colors that evoke images of driftwood, dock planks or charred campfire wood. Choose from Dura Supreme’s four different wood species, each with their own charm and character marks. Select from any of Dura Supreme’s wood door styles to create a look that’s uniquely your own.

Three years after completing the first phase of our Clients’ home renovation we were summoned again to
redesign their Kitchen. The charge was to create a sleek, “Metro” Kitchen and a dynamic flow between it
and the adjacent Sitting Room. The Client, who works from home for a Fortune 500 Corporation, also
requested a desk area at which to do her job.
Transforming the “Eighties, “White-washed- Southwest-Country” styled Kitchen required a complete
stripping to the studs, reconfiguring the position of appliances and cabinetry, eliminating a wall and
peninsula that separated the Kitchen from the Sitting Room, and a complete make-over of the brick-oven-
like fireplace.
The process yielded a stunning and efficient working Kitchen which features a coffee station, wine bar,
full height pantries, a seamless flow to the Sitting Room and, to our Clients’ delight, a little office space
tucked behind a pocketing French door.
