Astrid: I can't attest to the education, experience or qualifications required to work as a designer at those stores. However, I can tell you something about myself. I am a Florida registered interior designer with over 30 years of experience in my field. I am not simply an interior decorator. I am an interior designer with professional credentials. I am NCIDQ certified. This means I have attained the highest level of profession certification in my field through my education, work experience and a lengthy examination process. Also, my skill set is not limited to one area, such as a kitchen or window treatment design. I am well versed in all areas of interior design. In addition, in order to keep my license/registration active, I must take continuing education classes every two years that cover building codes and HSW certification which pertains to issues related to health, safety and welfare.

Lovely pair of grain feed sack pillows from Europe. We custom-made these out of the original antique feed sacks, with zipper closure and overlocked edges. The fronts are a soft pale oatmeal color with pale Swedish blue stripes and original monograming. The backs are of antique French linen, a heavy weight, very soft and also an oatmeal color. All items have been pre washed, clean and ready to use. These printed sacks were individually marked over a century ago, using a tar based stenciling with last and first names of the owner, sometimes his title or profession, the village or hamlet he lived or worked in and usually the year. Not only is the fabric antique or vintage, but the stencil, the calligraphy is original to the product, making it a more rare and valuable textile. Dimensions: 20 x 20 Includes down feather insert.

Susan chose the profession of Landscape Architecture at the young age of 16. It was the perfect blend of her interests and passions…design, nature, art, and architecture. She studied landscape architecture at Penn State, gaining an appreciation for the rural landscape of central Pennsylvania and ultimately earned her degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. After beginning her career in a traditional landscape architecture office, she was soon drawn to landscape design/build, gaining valuable experience with her own Seattle firm for many years and then again with a local East Bay firm. Today, she leads a growing collective of exceptional women, providing forward thinking design solutions aligned with MLA values. Susan is grateful for her team of professionals with big hearts, bold ideas, and brilliance. We interviewed Chad(left) and Bobby(right), the team of Everett installers who worked on this job! Bobby, What got you into this profession? My father did a LOT of carpentry and home improvement projects. I've been building things since 16 years old and started in the concrete business, and eventually found my way to Renewal! Chad, what was your favorite tool? Cutback tool. It's the only custom tool we use. Chad, what was unique about this job? Definitely the homeowner, we listened to a ton of 80s country music! She loved her dogs and when we told her we had a selfie competition, she had the idea to dress up her dogs so we could take a photo with them in front of the patio door we installed.
