Refreshed this bathroom space by brightening it up with lighter paint, and brighter vanity light. By simply updating lighting, vanity, mirror, and paint it gave a whole new life to the bathroom.

Remodeled kitchen by leaving all appliances in existing locations, but updated the shape of the awkward walled island, and closet pantry. This kitchen includes taking the upper cabinets up to the ceiling, cabinet pantry with pull out drawers, large island with all drawers, pull out spice drawer next to the stove top, and pull out corner kidney.

This bathroom was ready for a remodel and the homeowners were more than excited to get rid of the bath tub. Although there was plenty of room to expand the shower, the owners wanted to use the new found tub space for a make up vanity area. Even though the shower only grew by a couple of inches, we visually made it appear larger by incorporating a few design tricks! The other big change was maximizing storage with an all drawer vanity, vanity tower, and modern medicine cabinets.

Small bathroom updated with modern finishes to help the space feel larger, airy, & fresh.

This kitchen had a great existing layout, but was ready for an update. By refacing 70% of the cabinets, we were able to save the homeowner money. We then did an entire new island, added a coffee bar, and a more functional cabinet pull out tray pantry.

The goal of this project was to provide a lush and vast garden for the new owners of this recently remodeled brick Georgian. Located in Wheaton this acre plus property is surrounded by beautiful Oaks.
Preserving the Oaks became a particular challenge with the ample front walk and generous entertaining spaces the client desired. Under most of the Oaks the turf was in very poor condition, and most of the property was covered with undesirable overgrown underbrush such as Garlic Mustard weed and Buckthorn.
With a recently completed addition, the garages were pushed farther from the front door leaving a large distance between the drive and entry to the home. This prompted the addition of a secondary door off the kitchen. A meandering walk curves past the secondary entry and leads guests through the front garden to the main entry. Off the secondary door a “kitchen patio” complete with a custom gate and Green Mountain Boxwood hedge give the clients a quaint space to enjoy a morning cup of joe.
Stepping stone pathways lead around the home and weave through multiple pocket gardens within the vast backyard. The paths extend deep into the property leading to individual and unique gardens with a variety of plantings that are tied together with rustic stonewalls and sinuous turf areas.
Closer to the home a large paver patio opens up to the backyard gardens. New stoops were constructed and existing stoops were covered in bluestone and mortared stonewalls were added, complimenting the classic Georgian architecture.
The completed project accomplished all the goals of creating a lush and vast garden that fit the remodeled home and lifestyle of its new owners. Through careful planning, all mature Oaks were preserved, undesirables removed and numerous new plantings along with detailed stonework helped to define the new landscape.

Although hard to photograph, this space was reworked to have a view of the vanity when you walk in vs the side of the toilet. It is placed under the stairs so the ceiling height is only 7'. The brown basket weave mosaic tile wall creates a timeless backdrop to class up the one room all guest will use.

To achieve the updated kitchen, we knocked out the fur down & raised the ceiling to make it feel open & less cramped. New appliances, updated fixtures & cabinet hardware went along ways. The white quartz counter tops are a perfect fit in helping reduce eye clutter & keeping the space feeling open.

The detailed plans for this bathroom can be purchased here: https://www.changeyourbathroom.com/shop/felicitous-flora-bathroom-plans/
The original layout of this bathroom underutilized the spacious floor plan and had an entryway out into the living room as well as a poorly placed entry between the toilet and the shower into the master suite. The new floor plan offered more privacy for the water closet and cozier area for the round tub. A more spacious shower was created by shrinking the floor plan - by bringing the wall of the former living room entry into the bathroom it created a deeper shower space and the additional depth behind the wall offered deep towel storage. A living plant wall thrives and enjoys the humidity each time the shower is used. An oak wood wall gives a natural ambiance for a relaxing, nature inspired bathroom experience.
