Wall Framing Provide and install wood or metal stud framing as per the approved plans. Ensure all framing is plumb, level, and secured per structural requirements. Install necessary blocking, bracing, and fire stops. Coordinate with other trades as needed. Drywall Installation per Plans Provide and install drywall per project specifications. Include necessary taping, mudding, and sanding for a smooth finish. Install moisture-resistant drywall where required. Ensure all seams and joints are properly finished for paint application. Insulation per Plans Supply and install insulation as specified in the project plans. Ensure proper R-values for thermal and acoustic performance. Install vapor barriers where required. Ensure all insulation is properly fitted and secured. Interior Painting per Plans Prep all surfaces, including priming where necessary. Apply paint per specifications, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish. Use high-quality paint as specified by the client. Protect surrounding surfaces and clean up upon completion. Acoustical Ceilings per Plans Provide and install acoustical ceiling grid and tiles per project specifications. Ensure level and secure installation. Coordinate with electrical and mechanical trades as needed. Baseboards Supply and install baseboards as per project requirements. Ensure precise cuts and seamless installation. Caulk and paint/stain as necessary. Flooring Labor Perform labor for flooring installation as per client-provided material. Ensure proper subfloor preparation. Install flooring per manufacturer guidelines. Provide final cleanup and ensure smooth finish. New Siding Remove existing siding if necessary. Supply and install new siding as per project specifications. Ensure proper flashing and weatherproofing. Seal all joints and ensure a finished look.

Our clients already had a cottage on Torch Lake that they loved to visit. It was a 1960s ranch that worked just fine for their needs. However, the lower level walkout became entirely unusable due to water issues. After purchasing the lot next door, they hired us to design a new cottage. Our first task was to situate the home in the center of the two parcels to maximize the view of the lake while also accommodating a yard area. Our second task was to take particular care to divert any future water issues. We took necessary precautions with design specifications to water proof properly, establish foundation and landscape drain tiles / stones, set the proper elevation of the home per ground water height and direct the water flow around the home from natural grade / drive. Our final task was to make appealing, comfortable, living spaces with future planning at the forefront. An example of this planning is placing a master suite on both the main level and the upper level. Bathroom - large coastal master white tile and ceramic tile light wood floor bathroom idea in Boston with white walls

The goal of this project was to upgrade the builder grade finishes and create an ergonomic space that had a contemporary feel. This bathroom transformed from a standard, builder grade bathroom to a contemporary urban oasis. This was one of my favorite projects, I know I say that about most of my projects but this one really took an amazing transformation. By removing the walls surrounding the shower and relocating the toilet it visually opened up the space. Creating a deeper shower allowed for the tub to be incorporated into the wet area. Adding a LED panel in the back of the shower gave the illusion of a depth and created a unique storage ledge. A custom vanity keeps a clean front with different storage options and linear limestone draws the eye towards the stacked stone accent wall. Using light flooring in the form of natural lime stone 12x24 tiles with a linear pattern, it really draws the eye down the length of the room which is what we needed. Then, breaking up the space a little with the stone pebble flooring in the shower, this client enjoyed his time living in Japan and wanted to incorporate some of the elements that he appreciated while living there. The dark stacked stone feature wall behind the tub is the perfect backdrop for the LED panel, giving the illusion of a window and also creates a cool storage shelf for the tub. A narrow, but tasteful, oval freestanding tub fit effortlessly in the back of the shower. With a sloped floor, ensuring no standing water either in the shower floor or behind the tub, every thought went into engineering this Atlanta bathroom to last the test of time. With now adequate space in the shower, there was space for adjacent shower heads controlled by Kohler digital valves. A hand wand was added for use and convenience of cleaning as well. On the vanity are semi-vessel sinks which give the appearance of vessel sinks, but with the added benefit of a deeper, rounded basin to avoid splashing. Wall mounted faucets add sophistication as well as less cleaning maintenance over time. The custom vanity is streamlined with drawers, doors and a pull out for a can or hamper. A wonderful project and equally wonderful client. I really enjoyed working with this client and the creative direction of this project. Brushed nickel shower head with digital shower valve, freestanding bathtub, curbless shower with hidden shower drain, flat pebble shower floor, shelf over tub with LED lighting, gray vanity with drawer fronts, white square ceramic sinks, wall mount faucets and lighting under vanity. The homeowners desired an outdoor space that felt more rustic than their refined interior spaces, but still related architecturally to their house. Cement plaster support arbor columns provide enough of visual tie to the existing house exterior. Oversized wood beams and rafter members provide a unique outdoor atmosphere.
