This project was a complete reimagining of an existing farm estate complete with, a barn, stables, pastures and even an aviary. The Client wanted a resort style that provided airstream rental trailers for visiting doctors and nurses with appropriate amenities.

This tropical modern coastal Tiny Home is built on a trailer and is 8x24x14 feet. The blue exterior paint color is called cabana blue. Adding a penthouse perch to this 1899 row house with a harbor view demanded unusual tactics. To circumvent municipal limitations on floor area, a section of floor was removed from one level and “transferred” to the roof as a new studio space. To comply with local height limitations, an innovative structure of solid wood studs was deployed to reduce floor and ceiling thicknesses to the bare minimum. The floor is raised to hide the wheel wells of the trailer and to provide hidden storage below. This drawer opens to 8' long to provide unbelievable amount of storage for office supplies or even a twin size mattress.

For a dedicated equestrian client, Equine Facility Design created a carefully designed a private facility on five acres of a private residential development. The project consists of a three stall stable with office, tack, feed room, wash/groom stall, hay storage, bedding storage, equipment storage, and indoor O2 Compost system, as well as an attached 82’ x 156’ indoor riding arena. Ample room for trailer loading and storage is provided near the stable entrance. The stable and arena were designed to complement the existing residence on the property, and conform with the development homeowner’s association.
