Bevel-cut, square leg turnings compliment the simple bead of the cabinet door. A Sub-Zero refrigerator is disguised by rich cocoa bean stained cabinets with leaded mirror panels. Sub-Zero freezer drawers, also hidden by panels, are located conveniently next to the refrigerator. A pull-out pantry above the freezer drawers completes a quick-access zone for the chef owner.

This dark and dated feeling kitchen and bar were completely renovated for this multi-generational global family. By re-configuring the space and incorporating the bar, removing several heavy columns and a wall, it made the kitchen open and accessible to the adjacent rooms and visible from the front door. Everything was lightened and brightened with new cabinetry, counter tops, appliances, flooring, paint, better windows, electrical and lighting. The old range top and down draft were enclosed in a massive brick structure, with no prep space, by removing it and centering the new range on the wall with a custom hood and full height stone back splash, a stunning focal point was created. The position of other key appliances and plumbing were moved or added to create several work stations throughout the large space, such as the refrigeration, full prep sink, coffee bar, baking station, cocktail bar and clean up island. Another special feature of this kitchen was roll out table from the end of the serving island. Specialty features include: A roll out table for eating, prep or serving; coffee bar and drink service area with beverage center; full size prep sink adjacent to refrigeration and cooking areas; steam oven and baking station; microwave/warming drawer; dual fuel range with double ovens, 6 burners and a griddle top; two separate islands, one for serving large family meals, one for clean up; specialty spice storage inserts and pull outs; corner turn outs for large items; two double pull outs for trash and recycling; stacked cabinetry with glass display at the top to take advantage of the 14' ceilings.

Every detail of this cool gray transitional kitchen design in Yardley, PA combines to create a stunning space, packed with stylish and practical features. The Dura Supreme stacked Avery style kitchen cabinets are painted zinc with a shadow glaze to add depth to the finish. The upper cabinets have a mullion style door, and the island is in a contrasting dark finish with glass front cabinets on one side. This is beautifully accented by Top Knobs bar pulls and a Dekton by Cosentino Entzo countertop with 2" mitered edge and a double waterfall countertop on the island. The cabinetry includes ample storage accessories, such as a tray divider, spice drawer, roll outs, and pull out base cabinet. The backsplash is random size mosaic Alabastro tile with Schluter strips to cap the edges. A Blanco Precis Siligranit sink combines with a Brizo Smart Touch on the perimeter of the kitchen. The appliances include Wolf ovens and a Sub Zero refrigerator, as well as a Wolf range in the island, perfect for cooking while talking to guests or keeping an eye on the kids. Power outlets in the island and angled power strips under the wall cabinets are ideal for plugging in small appliances or charging electronics. This open plan kitchen design is a functional, efficient space, as well as a style icon in the center of this home.

tight spot under a stairwell that became a great storage space with a lazy susan, wrapping paper drawer, lucite front wrapping paper essentials, and pull out trays and drawers for entertaining items.

We gave this rather dated farmhouse some dramatic upgrades that brought together the feminine with the masculine, combining rustic wood with softer elements. In terms of style her tastes leaned toward traditional and elegant and his toward the rustic and outdoorsy. The result was the perfect fit for this family of 4 plus 2 dogs and their very special farmhouse in Ipswich, MA. Character details create a visual statement, showcasing the melding of both rustic and traditional elements without too much formality. The new master suite is one of the most potent examples of the blending of styles. The bath, with white carrara honed marble countertops and backsplash, beaded wainscoting, matching pale green vanities with make-up table offset by the black center cabinet expand function of the space exquisitely while the salvaged rustic beams create an eye-catching contrast that picks up on the earthy tones of the wood. The luxurious walk-in shower drenched in white carrara floor and wall tile replaced the obsolete Jacuzzi tub. Wardrobe care and organization is a joy in the massive walk-in closet complete with custom gliding library ladder to access the additional storage above. The space serves double duty as a peaceful laundry room complete with roll-out ironing center. The cozy reading nook now graces the bay-window-with-a-view and storage abounds with a surplus of built-ins including bookcases and in-home entertainment center. You can’t help but feel pampered the moment you step into this ensuite. The pantry, with its painted barn door, slate floor, custom shelving and black walnut countertop provide much needed storage designed to fit the family’s needs precisely, including a pull out bin for dog food. During this phase of the project, the powder room was relocated and treated to a reclaimed wood vanity with reclaimed white oak countertop along with custom vessel soapstone sink and wide board paneling. Design elements effectively married rustic and traditional styles and the home now has the character to match the country setting and the improved layout and storage the family so desperately needed. Step into this expansive master suite! The concern? Storage. Our solution? A his and hers closet system, which utilized building closet cabinetry in the dead-nook-space in the sitting area. This would now be designated now as his' closet, complete with drawers, pull outs for shoes, hanging areas, and a special fake drawer panel for laundry basket. Cabinetry finished in BM Distant Gray. The master bathroom received (2) new floating vanities (his and hers) with flat panel drawers and stainless steel finger pulls, open shelving, and finished with a gray glaze.
