Pictures do not do this beautiful space justice. Although a minor punch-list and construction clean up still left to do, USI, had to seize the moment, & capture some photos. If you can envision, the original wall was located where the bar is, and it extended ~4' towards the windows. Because of the second floor (and budget parameters), the load bearing beams were incased to create decorative pillars. This allowed the structural engineering to stay intact, resulting in maximizing an open transition between the living room and kitchen.

"We have remodeled our kitchen previously with Taylor Pro, and we were so delighted we booked Kerry again to do our bathroom. Most major remodels are a few weeks of construction h***, and this was no exception, but Kerry kept the focus on the schedule and the results. We are delighted with the beauty and functionality of our bathrooms, and we receive complements from our friends. When I showed construction photos to friends at work, some who knew the business praised our constructor and his subs, saying the work was done right and he knows his stuff. For this urban loft in an old paint factory, the builder used reclaimed wood, a custom island, rolling "cabinet doors," exposed pipes and industrial lighting. In keeping with this feel, we added these great wire caged pendant fixtures and a punch of orange for the barstools to create a fun, ecclectic, urban feel. Photo:Aimee Mazzenga
