Who said that a Burbank bungalow home needs to be doll and old fashioned. In this Burbank remodeling project we took this 1200sq. bungalow home and turned it to a wonderful mixture of European modern kitchen space and calm transitional modern farmhouse furniture and flooring. The kitchen was a true challenge since space was a rare commodity, but with the right layout storage and work space became abundant. A floating 5' long sitting area was constructed and even the back face of the cabinets was used for wine racks. Exterior was updated as well with new black windows, new stucco over layer and new light fixtures all around. both bedrooms were fitted with huge 10' sliding doors overlooking the green backyard.

This kitchen had old, yellowed, golden oak cabinets. The client wanted to keep the existing cabinets, and improve the look. We added the new wood hood, the box above the sink, an appliance garage, a new microwave cabinet and an extended refrigerator cabinet with side panels. The cabinets were then embellished with applied wood accents, faux painted in a medium dark finish and the appliques were accented with bronze metallic paint.

We are all about livable spaces! We transformed this rarely used formal living room into a casual but sophisticated game room. The design features a custom built-in wet bar decked out to the nines with a kegerator, ice machine and beverage fridge. We love the casual but stylish vertical shiplap and floating oak shelves - designed for a shelf styling moment! The new living room connects to the to formal(ish) dining room where the blues, textures and touch of rustic metal finishes continue.

The rare design of this Dutch-inspired collection enhances its Old World ornaments. We center the Yorktown chandelier on a richly proportioned metal basin, cast for heirloom durability. The basin’s ample surface robustly showcases the shine of candelabra lamps. Classic swooping arms hold elaborately turned bobeches, upon which we seat smooth metal candle-sleeves. Elegantly trimmed bell shades give the collection a fine finishing touch. Overall Dimensions: 36.5"Dia. x 23.5"H

Our clients—philanthropists that split time between Chicago and Naples—embraced a rare opportunity to buy an adjacent unit and experience full-floor city living. With a vision for both intimate and large gatherings and minimal maintenance, we developed simple architectural details that organize the primary living spaces and integrate mechanical, lighting and structural elements. Their growing art collection is set against classic oak paneling, travertine and oak flooring and white lacquer finishes. Seeded glass and metal doors filter natural light into the center of the apartment and reflect city and lake views. The result is an understated yet inviting home.

This is a beautiful contemporary home with multi-levels connected with a grand steel staircase. It's one of a kind design you can rarely find in Vancouver East. Exterior finish includes brown metal long board and white cedar shakes
