This three-story Westhampton Beach home designed for family get-togethers features a large entry and open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen was gut-renovated to merge seamlessly with the living room. For worry-free entertaining and clean-up, we used lots of performance fabrics and refinished the existing hardwood floors with a custom greige stain. A palette of blues, creams, and grays, with a touch of yellow, is complemented by natural materials like wicker and wood. The elegant furniture, striking decor, and statement lighting create a light and airy interior that is both sophisticated and welcoming, for beach living at its best, without the fuss!

Our homeowners approached us for design help shortly after purchasing a fixer upper. They wanted to redesign the home into an open concept plan. Their goal was something that would serve multiple functions: allow them to entertain small groups while accommodating their two small children not only now but into the future as they grow up and have social lives of their own. They wanted the kitchen opened up to the living room to create a Great Room. The living room was also in need of an update including the bulky, existing brick fireplace. They were interested in an aesthetic that would have a mid-century flair with a modern layout. We added built-in cabinetry on either side of the fireplace mimicking the wood and stain color true to the era. The adjacent Family Room, needed minor updates to carry the mid-century flavor throughout.

Intentional. Elevated. Artisanal. With three children under the age of 5, our clients were starting to feel the confines of their Pacific Heights home when the expansive 1902 Italianate across the street went on the market. After learning the home had been recently remodeled, they jumped at the chance to purchase a move-in ready property. We worked with them to infuse the already refined, elegant living areas with subtle edginess and handcrafted details, and also helped them reimagine unused space to delight their little ones. Elevated furnishings on the main floor complement the home’s existing high ceilings, modern brass bannisters and extensive walnut cabinetry. In the living room, sumptuous emerald upholstery on a velvet side chair balances the deep wood tones of the existing baby grand. Minimally and intentionally accessorized, the room feels formal but still retains a sharp edge—on the walls moody portraiture gets irreverent with a bold paint stroke, and on the the etagere, jagged crystals and metallic sculpture feel rugged and unapologetic. Throughout the main floor handcrafted, textured notes are everywhere—a nubby jute rug underlies inviting sofas in the family room and a half-moon mirror in the living room mixes geometric lines with flax-colored fringe. On the home’s lower level, we repurposed an unused wine cellar into a well-stocked craft room, with a custom chalkboard, art-display area and thoughtful storage. In the adjoining space, we installed a custom climbing wall and filled the balance of the room with low sofas, plush area rugs, poufs and storage baskets, creating the perfect space for active play or a quiet reading session. The bold colors and playful attitudes apparent in these spaces are echoed upstairs in each of the children’s imaginative bedrooms. This charming kids guest room was design with fun and whimsy in mind. The client wanted to transform a spare bedroom into a guest room for kids. We achieved some fun and flare with a new coat of paint and Eskayel wallpaper to give the space character and movement. We furnished the room with a daybed that includes a trundle to accommodate two children. We added boho elements like a bright vintage Moroccan rug and mixed textures with pillows and blankets that have graphic patterns. The mid century living room is punctuated with deep blue accents that coordinate with the deep blue and walnut kitchen cabinets in the open living space. A mid century sofa with wood sides and back grounds the space, while a sunburst mirror and modern art provide additional character.

The refined work of Katerina Lashmanova, through an attentive dedication to details, reaches its apogee within this contemporary project, flowing into an inspiring bold apartment in the imposing city of Moscow, Russia.

The homeowner wished to add some color and style to her very neural and plain family room. We've addressed several components of the room: window treatments, furniture and rug placement and addition of pattern and color. The large bay type window consisted of 6 standard size windows separated by the strips of wall. We've added single width drapery panels in the pattern rich fabric and hung them on medallion type of hardware installed way above the window frame for for extra hight. Two armchairs were placed in front of the bay area to create a perfect place for reading and conversation. Two color rich pillows were added to emphasize the area. DRAPES & DECOR

The goal was to create a dramatic, glamorous dining room and blend the client's modern taste with the traditional chest they inherited and the traditional style of home. To meld the chest into the room, we pulled the gold accents and added gold in the wallpaper panels, the frames around the wallpaper panels and on the dramatic ceiling. The table top is custom made from a reclaimed oak floor. The chairs are vintage with new upholstery and black paint.

Design-build kitchen, powder room, and butler’s pantry remodel in an 1890 Victorian home in Wakefield, MA. Full renovation included reconfiguring the powder room layout and opening a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room to improve flow and functionality. Kitchen remodel features frameless full overlay cabinetry in Steel Blue, quartz countertops (Alleanza Dolomiti Extra), beveled crackle tile backsplash, and hardwood flooring. Island addition replaces freestanding table and adds prep space with microwave drawer. Full-height wall cabinets maximize kitchen storage. Historic-inspired details include ogee-edge countertops, bridge-style faucet in English Bronze, decorative corbels, polished nickel hardware, and industrial-style sconces. Powder room renovation includes reduced footprint layout, basketweave floor tile, applied molding, wallpaper, and vintage-inspired plumbing fixtures in chrome. Butler’s pantry remodel features inset cherry cabinetry in a coffee stain finish, quartz countertops, glass-front cabinets, beverage fridge, bar sink, and wallpapered cabinetry interiors. The family room was conceived as a double-height architectural volume anchored by a monolithic stone fireplace and integrated millwork niches. Ceiling pitch, vertical planes, and material transitions were addressed during the design selection phase to ensure the scale of the architecture remained balanced once furnished. Soft, low-profile seating was selected to maintain clear sightlines across the room while allowing the fireplace surround and wood-lined alcoves to remain the primary focal elements. The furniture plan creates a structured conversational arrangement without interrupting circulation or visual flow. Textural layering — woven upholstery, stone, wood paneling, and subtle metal accents — reinforces warmth within the height and openness of the space. The result is a family room that reads as composed architecture first, furnishing second: grounded, scaled, and designed to support both gathering and daily use without visual noise.

This French country laundry room exudes charm with its functional elegance. White hexagonal tile backsplash and marble-like countertops are complemented by warm, natural wood floating shelves, adorned with woven baskets for a rustic touch.
