Our eclectic modern home remodel project turned a closed-off home filled with heavy wood details into a contemporary haven for hosting with creative design choices, making the space feel up to date and ready to host lively gatherings. The main living space that hosts the large custom walnut and steel staircase was a significant upgrade from the heavy wood that closed off other parts of the house from one another. This new staircase is inviting and creates flow from one level to another. The entryway is welcoming with an arched built-in and incredible custom front door. This space also received an upgraded stone fireplace; together with the oversized windows, this space is a cozy gathering space for friends and family.

This colonial home in Penn Valley, PA, needed a complete interior renovation. Working closely with the owners, we renovated all three floors plus the basement. Now the house is bright and light, featuring open layouts, loads of natural light, and a clean design maximizing family living areas. Highlights include: - creating a guest suite in the third floor/attic - installing custom millwork and moulding in the curved staircase and foyer - creating a stunning, contemporary kitchen, with marble counter tops, white subway tile back splash, and an eating nook. We added crown moulding to and continued the new red oak flooring in this cheerful room. Larina Kase of Larina Kase Interior Designs in Wayne, PA, designed the beautiful pink chest of drawers. The main projects in this Wayne, PA home were renovating the kitchen and the master bathroom, but we also updated the mudroom and the dining room. Using different materials and textures in light colors, we opened up and brightened this lovely home giving it an overall light and airy feel. This condominium is modern and sleek, while still retaining much of its traditional charm. We added paneling to the walls, archway, door frames, and around the fireplace for a special and unique look throughout the home. To create the entry with convenient built-in shoe storage and bench, we cut an alcove an existing to hallway. The deep-silled windows in the kitchen provided the perfect place for an eating area, which we outfitted with shelving for additional storage. Form, function, and design united in the beautiful black and white kitchen. It is a cook’s dream with ample storage and counter space. The bathrooms play with gray and white in different materials and textures to create timeless looks. The living room’s built-in shelves and reading nook in the bedroom add detail and storage to the home. The pops of color and eye-catching light fixtures make this condo joyful and fun. Michael Habachy designed this luxurious master bathroom for a penthouse in Buckhead. It began as a completely raw space with concrete floors and framing, allowing the designer to tailor every single detail to fit the client’s lifestyle. The client wanted a dramatic and luxurious look, but also functionality. The custom, Neo-classic inspired vanity achieves that by concealing the power for blow dryers and curling irons, and integrating a built-in towel warmer. Materials such as polished Calacutta marble and special cut and beveled diamond shaped mirrors contribute to the luxurious feel. Every feature received a tremendous attention to detail, including the black and white tiled rug with inset stainless steel dots. A rich layering effect was achieved by placing a custom made linear light fixture in front of white sheers, to give the illusion that its droplets of Swarovski crystals were woven into the fabric.
