Elegant home design photo in Seattle

By using mirrored tiles under the gold candle holders, this creates flow from the mirrors hanging on the adjacent wall. It keeps an idea of continuity of the mirror theme going elsewhere in the room.

Using two African stools found at a flew market as a coffee table of sorts brings an element of fun and interest to the room. It keeps one from taking the room too seriously.

Revitalizing a Duncan Phyfe sofa with this luxurious-looking fabric created the perfect mix of the old meeting the new. The eclectic side of this room is found in mixing years' worth of found objects (mirrors, African stools, a collection of antique piano music books, antique rocking chair) with new items (shag rug and oil painting - both from Pier 1 Imports, credenza from Ashley Furniture).

AFTER: Right Bookcase. By repositioning the shelves, I was able to bring the homeowner's figurine collectibles together in one place (as opposed to spread across several cabinets throughout the house) so that she could enjoy the collection in its entirety.
