We designed this master bedroom with whimsical elegance in mind. Off-white fabrics, traditional woods, and soft textiles throughout create a dreamy look, perfect for resting and recuperating. An intimate sitting area is showcased, complete with two large sofa chairs and soothing foliage and natural woods. Elegant decor and artwork make a statement but stay understated to allow the plush textiles to steal the show.

This custom designed pool threads the needle – meeting all the zoning codes and creating as much wet-space as possible for the kids. For Mom + Dad, a pair of lounge chairs in the sun provide a quiet space to relax and recuperate next to the wood-fired pizza oven.

Summer 2014 I've built my boys a tree house! The tree house is big enough to fit 4 campers. 2/3 of the material was scrap wood from other projects or recuperated from the side of the road (windows) and beams from an area barn that was dismantled. A big big thanks to Martin Bouvier de MB Reno-Deco for helping me raise the structure and do the roof! Also a big thanks to my kids grandfather who donated the green rocket slide. This railing was the first planned update of the Fort Collins, CO couples home renovation. The wavy lines give the room a natural feel. Design and fabrication by Hueber Industries LLC. Photo: Rory Schaar.

The primary suite received a fresh coat of paint, new carpet and a small reading chair to create a fresh airy and open bedroom with a cozy seating area overlooking the mountains. A small textural neutral rug anchors the bed and bench. The window seat was furnished with soft plush pillows and a blanket creating a cozy nook. A pop of soothing blue was added with an original painting from Whitney Design Studios above the bed to create a focal point. The room serves as a relaxing spot to recuperate from the day.
