The Tranquility Residence is a mid-century modern home perched amongst the trees in the hills of Suffern, New York. After the homeowners purchased the home in the Spring of 2021, they engaged TEROTTI to reimagine the primary and tertiary bathrooms. The peaceful and subtle material textures of the primary bathroom are rich with depth and balance, providing a calming and tranquil space for daily routines. The terra cotta floor tile in the tertiary bathroom is a nod to the history of the home while the shower walls provide a refined yet playful texture to the room.

This home was a sweet 30's bungalow in the West Hollywood area. We flipped the kitchen and the dining room to allow access to the ample backyard.
The design of the space was inspired by Manhattan's pre war apartments, refined and elegant.
The back splash is a striped marble tile and the rounded open shelving softens the edge and is what you would find in a 30's style home.

For this ground up project in one of Lafayette’s most prized neighborhoods, we brought an East Coast sensibility to this West Coast residence. Honoring the client’s love of classical interiors, we layered the traditional architecture with a crisp contrast of saturated colors, clean moldings and refined white marble. In the living room, tailored furnishings are punctuated by modern accents, bespoke draperies and jewelry like sconces. Built-in custom cabinetry, lasting finishes and indoor/outdoor fabrics were used throughout to create a fresh, elegant yet livable home for this active family of five.

A harmonious blend of rustic and refined, the warm palette of natural materials and finishes like beautifully aged white oak floors, seedy glass transoms and classic built-ins, create a relaxed space that never loses its polished sense of style.

The owners dreamed of an Eichler remodel they would live in forever. Their vision was contemporary and open. Klopf Architecture would design, and reconfigure bathrooms/laundry areas and upgrade systems to be more efficient. This talented executive mother of five decorated and furnished the home herself.

A rustic, yet refined Texas farmhouse by Architect Michael Imber is adorned throughout the exterior with handcrafted copper lanterns from Bevolo. Airy, light-filled, & set amid ancient pecan and sycamore tree groves, the architect's use of materials allows the structure to seamlessly harmonize with its surroundings, while Interior Designer Fern Santini's clever use of texture & patina, bring warmth to every room within. The result is a home built with a true understanding and love for the past. See more of the project. http://ow.ly/8mDo30nCqT7
