This game room was designed to give a teenager and his friends a place to gather, watch movies, and play games. Deep blue walls and ceiling envelop the room like an evening sky, creating a sense of calm. A soft wool rug and rounded furniture bring the comfort of clouds and invite everyone to settle in. The terracotta orange alcove adds the warmth and energy of a sunset. Set apart from the lounge area, it offers a place for more focused activities, from solo gaming to making videos. Since its completion, the room has become a favorite place to hang out. It’s being used just as hoped: for time with friends and time to oneself.

This historic home in Richmond's Church Hill neighborhood was in need of a floor to ceiling refresh. It's beauty was still evident, but it had endured years of disrepair. We worked hard to restore as much original carpentry as possible including woods, railings, flooring, fireplaces and even several windows. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely renovated with a new full bath added on upstairs. The final result was a gracious, stunning and historically preserved house that fits a modern family.

This terrace garden is designed as an open, refreshing green space with a mix of utility and relaxation. The area features a neat artificial lawn, large planters with fruiting and flowering plants, and a full vertical garden wall that adds colour and freshness. A cosy hammock and open sitting spots make the space perfect for unwinding, reading, or spending quiet evenings outdoors. The design keeps the terrace practical, breathable, and green — a comfortable rooftop garden that brings nature into everyday life.

This project creates a peaceful and refreshing outdoor space with a mix of soft lighting, clean lines, and lush greenery. The terrace has a warm, open layout with a wooden deck, hanging planters, and potted palms that make the space feel relaxed and airy. We used stone textures, accent wall lights, and a small Zen corner with a Buddha feature to bring calmness and balance. Every area is designed for easy everyday use — a quiet spot for morning tea, evening conversations, or simply unwinding with nature.

This warm and welcoming home is refreshing to walk into on many levels. The way the great room opens up to the porch and out into the trees makes it feel like you are in the middle of nowhere even though you’re in a neighborhood. The inviting warm colors and traditional elements are a breath of fresh air. It’s also literally a refreshing home because indoor air quality was a big priority for the owners. Homebuyers today are increasingly concerned about the indoor air quality of their homes. Issues like mold, radon, carbon monoxide and toxic chemicals have received greater attention than ever as poor indoor air quality has been linked to a host of health problems.
