Even small kitchens can be breathtaking. This renovation in Littleton features a mid-century modern aesthetic, with rift-cut oak cabinets, waterfall edge countertops, and sleek cabinet pulls. This house was 45 years old and the most recent kitchen update was past its due date. The idea was to refresh the space with a transitional design that leaned classic – something that would be elegant and comfortable. Something that would welcome and enhance natural light. Even though the appliances all stayed in the same locations, the cabinet finish created a dramatic change. This is a very large kitchen and the client embraces minimalist design so we decided to omit quite a few wall cabinets. The sink is an under mount Kohler double sink complemented by brushed nickel faucets.

Have you ever dreamt about your pie in the sky home? Well I have! That is, our wonderful client’s dream home. It includes a place with 72-degree weather everyday, a wondrous view of a harbor, a walkable city & with clean, modern accommodations. And voilà… a penthouse flat in downtown San Diego by the bay. We stripped away the cheap 80’s rental finishes, opened things up to bring in the sunshine, added new flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, a fireplace refresh and modern furniture for a little slice of heaven and comfort. Don't tell anyone, but there’s even a Lazy Boy chair in there!

“We want to redo our cabinets…but my kitchen is so small!” We hear this a lot here at Reborn Cabinets. You might be surprised how many people put off refreshing their kitchen simply because homeowners can’t see beyond their own square footage. Not all of us can live in a big, sprawling ranch house, but that doesn’t mean that a small kitchen can’t be polished into a real gem! This project is a great example of how dramatic the difference can be when we rethink our space—even just a little! By removing hanging cabinets, this kitchen opened-up very nicely. The light from the preexisting French doors could flow wonderfully into the adjacent family room. The finishing touches were made by transforming a very small “breakfast nook” into a clean and useful storage space.

The pool and spa are conveniently located beside the home’s lower level entertainment room. When hosting large groups, the elegant arched doors open to allow for mingling indoors and out. On hot summer evenings, it’s hard to beat a refreshing breeze off the lake.

This lovely couple came to us with a small, older kitchen that was ready for an update in both style and functionality. Even though the space was compact, the transformation made a big impact! They selected our Maui door style in a bright Polar White finish, which instantly lightened and refreshed the entire kitchen. The crisp white cabinetry helped the space feel larger, brighter, and far more inviting. For the countertops, they chose a beautiful Berwyn quartz, adding depth and elegance while perfectly complementing the new cabinetry. One of their favorite improvements was the significant increase in storage. The new cabinets were thoughtfully designed to maximize every inch of space, giving them the organization and functionality their kitchen had been missing. They are absolutely thrilled with the final result, and their refreshed kitchen now feels both beautiful and highly functional.

There's nothing better than helping our clients fall in love with their homes all over again. We replaced their aging lake house deck with a beautiful custom-built space, added underpinning to both the deck and home, refreshed the landscaping, and completed even more upgrades to create the perfect place for family and friends to gather for years to come.

All surfaces prepped and two finish coats applied for a smooth, even result. Part of a full interior repaint completed alongside flooring installation on this Houston investment property.

This large backyard had an impressive infinity pool, hot tub, waterfalls and outdoor fireplace, but needed some cozying up. Susan Currie Design reconfigured the layout for outdoor furniture to make the space functional and inviting. Near the grill, we have a set of tables and chairs for quiet afternoon lunches in the shade. Another seating area in front of the fireplace welcomes dinner guests to linger over drinks and stargaze in the evening. By the pool, chaises and a small side table are perfect for relaxing with a book or magazine. Teal fabric on the newly upholstered seating and umbrella in a teal color scheme tie in with aqua color of the pool water, and make the seating areas feel cool and refreshing. Under the covered porch, the homeowners have what are essentially an outdoor living room and dining room. Close to the house, these areas are easy to bring food and drinks out to from inside, and offer a delightful view of the pool and surrounding yard. Because it is covered, this area will stay cooler through much of the day than the rest of the yard, but black drapes are available to close off the area to any direct sun that may find its way in, and add a dramatic finishing touch. An Indonesian teak log planted with succulents brings life to the dining table.
