Tucked behind richly grained wooden doors lies a masterfully designed wine collector’s haven, where craftsmanship meets timeless luxury. Each wall is enveloped in hand-built, precision-cut wooden racks, elegantly cradling bottles at a slight tilt for label-forward presentation and preservation. At the heart of the space, a mirrored niche framed by arched cabinetry showcases premium spirits, while flanking shelves hold stemware and decanters like curated artifacts. Diamond cubbies below add rhythm and function, supporting both casual favorites and vintage treasures. The cork flooring complements the deep amber hues of the shelving, offering warmth and acoustic softness underfoot. Above, custom ceiling panels subtly echo the room’s purpose with branded wooden case tops. Finished with an ornate runner, this wine room evokes old-world charm tailored for modern collectors seeking beauty, order, and an immersive bar room experience.

Our clients on this project were inspired by their travels to Asia and wanted to mimic this aesthetic at their DC property. We designed a water feature that effectively masks adjacent traffic noise and maintains a small footprint.

The continuous red oak handrail is what holds this multistory staircase together. It flows uninterrupted from floor to floor, guiding the hand and the eye in equal measure. Round metal balusters rise in clean rhythm beneath it, their slender profiles keeping the composition open. Red oak treads with nosing carry the warmth of the handrail through every step, grounded by crisp white painted risers that reflect the natural light flooding the space. Modern in feel, considered in every detail.

We were asked to add a small sunroom off a beautiful 1960's living room. Our approach was to continue the lines of the living room out into the landscape. Opening up and glazing the walls on either side of the fireplace gave more presence to the Dale Chihuly piece mounted above while visually connecting to the garden and the new addition.

When you dad is a professional pitcher, it is pretty easy to decide that you want a baseball themed bedroom. Our client had various pitching grips photographed which are the focal point of this space and will be an heirloom for the family. Stripes in muted tones wrap around the entire room and will be a backdrop as the little boy grows up. A classic iron bed topped with vintage baseball themed bedding add subtle color and pattern. Reading lamps above the bed make bedtime story time easy.

This blushful dining area was created to compliment the homeowner’s sense of person style. We kept the space light and airy by flanking the windows with ombre sheer panels. To help ground the space we also paired the lighter pieces with dark buffet and dining table.

Cedar is a highly revered, durable wood that’s naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect attacks.
Western Red Cedar is pitch and resin-free, which means it’s ideal for accepting and holding a wide range of beautiful finishes including elegant dark stains, shabby chic bleaches, traditional solid colors and naturally beautiful semi-transparents. Western Red Cedar also offers a wide range of lumber dimensions, surface textures and grades so it works in many different applications.

We wanted to create a welcoming statement upon entering this newly built, expansive house with soaring ceilings. To focus your attention on the entry and not the ceiling, we selected a custom, 48- inch round foyer table. It has a French Wax glaze, hand-rubbed, on the solid concrete table. The trefoil planter is made by the same U.S facility, where all products are created by hand using eco- friendly materials. The finish is white -wash and is also concrete. Because of its weight, it’s almost impossible to move, so the client adds freshly planted flowers according to the season. The table is grounded by the lux, hair- on -hide skin rug. A bronze sculpture measuring 2 feet wide buy 3 feet high fits perfectly in the built-in alcove. While the hexagon space is large, it’s six walls are not equal in size and wrap around a massive staircase, making furniture placement an awkward challenge
We chose a stately Italian cabinet with curved door fronts and hand hammered metal buttons to further frame the area. The metal botanical wall sculptures have a glossy lacquer finish. The various sizes compose elements of proportion on the walls above. The graceful candelabra, with its classic spindled silhouette holds 28 candles and the delicate arms rise -up like a blossoming flower. You can’t help but wowed in this elegant foyer. it’s almost impossible to move, so the client adds freshly planted flowers according to the season.
