Our client came to us needing help with finding the right design that would match her personality as well as cohesively bring together her traditional and contemporary pieces. For this project, we focused on merging her design styles together through new and custom textiles and fabrics as well as layering textures. Reupholstering furniture, adding custom throw pillows, and displaying her traditional art collection (mixed in with some newer, contemporary pieces we picked out) was the key to bringing our client's unique style together. Gorgeous blues, reds, and greys make a statement in this Buckhead renovation, leaving our clients with an updated home with plenty of character! We wanted to keep the design cohesive, which is why we incorporated similar color schemes throughout while playing with the saturation and hues, and preventing the home from looking monotonous or overpowered by color. We upgraded all of the client's furniture, artwork, accessories, lighting, and window treatments as well as installed new hardwood floors. An eclectic, modern media room with bold accents of black metals, natural woods, and terra cotta tile floors. We wanted to design a fresh and modern hangout spot for these clients, whether they’re hosting friends or watching the game, this entertainment room had to fit every occasion. We designed a full home bar, which looks dashing right next to the wooden accent wall and foosball table. The sitting area is full of luxe seating, with a large gray sofa and warm brown leather arm chairs. Additional seating was snuck in via black metal chairs that fit seamlessly into the built-in desk and sideboard table (behind the sofa).... In total, there is plenty of seats for a large party, which is exactly what our client needed. Lastly, we updated the french doors with a chic, modern black trim, a small detail that offered an instant pick-me-up. The black trim also looks effortless against the black accents. This spacious contemporary kitchen is beautiful and functional. The gray and white color palette continues into this area, as the kitchen features bright white cabinets and counters as well as a dark gray island. The showstopper is the wooden ceiling accent, which is placed right above the kitchen island. A unique touch that ties really anchors down the entire design of the home. We made sure that the counters could be left clutter-free by integrating appliance shelving, such as for the microwave. We were invited to participate in the 2019 Miami Designer Showhouse for Miami Life magazine. Our team designed the master suite including the master bedroom, bathroom, and connecting hallway. We gave both spaces a bohemian, natural, and sophisticated feel. The focal point of the master bedroom is the 6ft mirror hung on the wall next to the bed. It is a breathtaking design feature, and it makes the room feel larger. To make sure that the room feels completely bespoke, we worked with a local wood fabricator to make an accent wall out of angled wood pieces that were painted the same color as the surrounding room. This accent wall is right at the entrance to the master suite, so it sets the tone for a unique and gorgeous space. In the bathroom, we created an oasis by wrapping the entire space in tile and accenting it with bronze finishes in the mirrors and light fixtures. --- Project designed by Miami interior designer Margarita Bravo. LiLu Interiors joined a team of industry professionals to pioneer a net zero energy consumption home in Minnesota. And together, they have made efficiency and sustainability feel right at home. The stunning creation of this client’s dream into reality harnesses more than enough electricity to sustain an entire residence, while also powering two vehicles. Not only is the home energy efficient, all finish and furnishing selections—along with plumbing, lighting, and hardware—were chosen with a conscious effort toward conservation, aging in place, and providing a healthy living environment. This is a super modern townhome with original pale tones, mainly a white canvas. Our sophisticated and well-traveled out-of-town clients purchased this townhome right in the middle of the pandemic. They needed a full-cycle interior design studio like ours to take on this project while they were in transit to Montecito. The scope was the complete renovation and facelift of the kitchen, powder room, master bedroom, master bathroom, guest suites, basement, and outdoor areas. Our clients wanted to bring warm tones such as orange and red throughout the 4-story Montecito townhome. They were open to discovering and implementing different interior design ideas in each section of the house. This project also features our SORELLA furniture pieces made exclusively by hand in Portugal and shipped to our clients in Montecito. A real estate agent turned to interior designer Dane Austin to imbue his new abode with character and beauty. Throughout the home Austin implemented pops of character and texture. "I'm kind of terrified of color but Dane did a really good job using it in a way I felt comfortable with," says the owner, who is happy with the results of Austin's labors.
