This is the inside of the 1/2 bath (powder room). The flooring is pebble flooring. The vanity was made from a white cedar that was harvested from Montana which we carved out the back for the plumbing pipes and a place for the touch-less faucet battery pack. For the counter top we used 2 pieces of 3" wood slabs and glued together (face of top still has the bark on). We poured an epoxy on the counter to keep it protected from water. The stone sink you see here was purchased in Las Vegas, NV. and had shipped to Minnesota. The faucet that is shown is a Jason Wu touch-less faucet. For the mirror we cut from the top of the base and carved out the center and also finished with an epoxy. The horse head the wood rope mirror is hung on is actually a coat hook. Notice the little tech gadget located under the hanging chicken wire light... it is a combination outlet and USB port for charging your phones, etc. For the ceiling we used half logs spaced every 1 1/2 feet (which is open) with up lighting. The light switch that is installed is motion activated and will automatically turn off after 15 min. of non-use and will notify you with a soft chirping sound. On one of the walls we applied 2" wood planks (with bark) and cemented in between the voids. We then applied a polyurethane on the wood planks.

Inspiration for a contemporary patio remodel in Charleston

This 30" x 24" abstract acrylic painting has been done in shades of cobalt blue, sky blue, citrine, chartreuse, white, soft sea green, and royal blue. Finished in gloss varnish to protect the piece from dust and UV light for years to come. Can be hung vertically or horizontally. Gorgeous vivid rich colors in a great contemporary style.

This 50" x 42" window, "Off On Another Of His Tangents", needed to perform a dual function; The client wanted a bold artwork for the stairwell landing that also had to allow the view of their surrounding property and its rolling hills to be featured. The design represents the ascension from the first floor to the second, with a wide swath of negative space to capture the view. The earth-tone colors were inspired by the palette of a very well known artist's canvas which hangs in close proximity to this space.

Location: New York, NY, United States This Loft was tastefully renovated back in the '90s, but was due for an update and an expansion of the kitchen and dining areas to accommodate the client's cooking skills and entertaining needs. EnlargIing the island and adding cabinetry to delineate the office, bar and dining areas was a priority. The bathroom was updated to feel like a tranquil spa with beautiful new tile, plumbing fixtures and cabinets. Rather than lowering all the counter top height to ADA guidelines, we customized cabinetry to adapt as needed. Custom pullout island tucks away under counter when not in use and does not impede a wheel-chair turning radius but the custom lower height allows for use while sitting.
