The ultimate goal was to enhance the aesthetic value, as well as update filtration components to provide optimum water quality to house a Japanese koi collection. A cantilevered stone walkway leads visitors to the main terrace. Waterfalls provide scenic views from inside and outside of the home, as do the koi that playfully dart around the aquatic plant life. The lush gardens enhance the waterscape with color, texture and delicate scents.

A new stream winds it's way through the landscape, between boulders and natural plantings. The stream becomes a waterfall into a natural pond, surrounded by large boulders. Seating along the edge and bridges throughout provide human access to this unique water feature.

Our friends at Premier Ponds introduced us to the homeowner after they installed the water feature. The homeowner worked with designer Jane Luce with ‘The Art of Landscape’ to draw up the perfect plan. We installed steppingstones, boulders, decorative gravel, along with many specimen trees and shrubs provided by Susanna Farms. This Asian style garden is sure to transport our clients into the realm of ultimate relaxation.
