This stunning cinema room with adjoining bar is one of our favourite rooms at our Harold Ashwell project. Cheryl opted against the traditional cinema seats and chose gorgeous bespoke deep set L-shaped couches, a more versatile seating design allowing the room to be utilised for all occasions while still being super comfy. A modular ottoman upholstered in the same fabric makes it an extension of the couches to turn it into a daybed. Two fluffy poufs round off the seating for an even more comfortable option – a favourite for kids and teens. Because this space is all about comfort and ultimate cosiness, Cheryl chose to bring in a lot of different kinds of textures in the form of scatter cushions placed along the large couch. A faux fur throw adds even more warmth and is ideal for snuggling under on a cold evening. A large screen and projector make movie night’s a pleasure with an accompanying home theatre sound system. A textured grass cloth wallpaper features alongside architectural moulding panels painted in a moody charcoal. Classic movie posters in black and white frames adorn the wall, creating a truly iconic look in this gorgeous space. An oak console table with complimentary objet sits behind the couch to create a natural flowing division between the bar area and the cinema space itself. This space has been dramatically changed into a home cinema room that encompasses all the very best of what a cinema room should be. Sit back, relax and enjoy special family movie nights in this specially designed cinema room.

A hotel inspired guest bedroom with soft tones and custom luxury bedding leads out to a private patio with lots of plants and contemporary outdoor furniture. The headboard wall is covered with metallic horsehair wallpaper. The geometric headboard is two toned, with gray and black, adding to the contemporary feel of the bedroom. Two identical mercury lamps sit atop the side tables, one glass and metal and one painted wood to match the bed. A white wing chair in the corner sits below a large piece of colorful art, the perfect spot to relax in the afternoon. Custom white bedding has a tan accent trim and a dark brown velvet neck roll. As exciting as having a completely new building built specifically to your requirements is, it can be hard to envisage how it will really look and feel until it is built. It was at this point that my clients found themselves confronted with a completely blank canvas, which can be a very daunting prospect. My Clients had lots of amazing ideas, but it is hard to know where to begin. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them to put their ideas on paper and create a plan that expressed their (exceptional!) taste and personality, whilst encouraging flow and functionality through the property. The lounge area is a practical and clean area with oodles of comfort to boot! The large, deep seated sofas contrast beautifully with the colours of the armchairs, to make an ecclectic mix of seating that is very pleasing to the eye, set off with the scatter cushions, which bring the scheme together effectively, adding even more comfort. The whole room is a mixture of dark vs light, creating a dramatic, yet cozy, light and spacious space to relax or socialise. The bespoke black framed, sliding glazed paned internal door works perfectly to shut the space of for privacy and sound exclusion, without loosing light to the room. Wide exterior bi-folding doors offer the option of opening the space out to the garden, giving complete connectivity between the two. The ochre yellow, dark forest green, hints of turquoise and oxford blue, team together so well and are set off beautifully by the contrasting natural white walls and the deep blue accent wall, along with the contrasting textures of the tweed curtains, velvet sofas, soft limestone flagstone flooring and high pile rug. A very successful scheme which my clients absolutely adore!
