The laneway leading up to this home is lined with lighting which offers a welcoming atmosphere to the property. The majestic oak trees scattered throughout the property will offer an impressive scale and feature for years to come on this country estate. The front entrance boasts a custom roman paver walkway that surrounds a unique water feature directly out the front door of the home. Expansive tree and shrub beds along with a centrally located water feature are enclosed with a custom concrete edger and frame the majestic views of the Rocky Mountains to the west.

Take a look at our latest event! We paired delicate pastel colors with lilac and periwinkle tablecloths on white table runners to create a fun upscale tea party. We added our "Special" touch with butterflies and and ladybugs scattered along the table tops. Our floor arrangements brightened the room with a mix of calla lilies, tulips, gladiolus, pussy willow, and fairly lights.

The luxurious, tranquility of the lounge with beautiful sea views fits perfectly with the overall feel of the home. We designed sumptuous, comfy custom-made couches to allow the family to truly relax and enjoy their living room space, and paired it with feather filled scatter cushions in textured neutral fabrics. A faux fur throw adds that extra bit of warmth and texture to the space which the clients absolutely loved. We focused on bringing in a lot of natural textures to the space which included a large, gorgeous natural fiber rug. All the furniture was custom designed and manufactured to fit the space perfectly. A stand-out feature of the room is the solid Oak Butler’s tray coffee table that Cheryl designed and paired perfectly with coastal decorative objét pieces and pops of warm gold in the form of candle holders. We kept the palette neutral and soft by choosing linen curtains throughout, with simple sheers behind the blockout lined curtains, which frame the large windows, and allow for either complete privacy or a spectacular ocean seafront view. An absolute dream lounge!

Minimalist open concept and formal gray floor living room photo in Other with brown walls

Pallets were dry brushed I blue, yellow, and green and then covered in a coat of polyurethane to protect them long term from the elements. A variety of flowering plants and vines were scattered along the wall to add color and life. And finally, two strands of outdoor fairy lights were strung through the pallets and plants to bring warm ambient light to the patio.

A perfect blend of old world charm and modern luxury, this home is sure to be a neighborhood favorite. An open layout with inviting fireplaces make this the perfect place for entertaining and relaxing. Around the home you will find unique stone accents, wood and metal staircases, custom kitchen and bathrooms, and a rec room complete with bar and pool table.
This craftsman style residence uses a mix of the Boston Blend Mosaic and Square & Rectangular thin stone veneer. It was used as a kitchen backsplash, interior wall accent, on multiple fireplaces, and stone archways. Great care was taken so the stones could be installed without a mortared joint. Corners were used along archways to create the illusion of full thickness stones and to allow for a more consistent and complete look. Scattered throughout, the mason cut custom large pieces of stone and wood to use as focal points.
New England’s finest real stone veneer was the perfect choice to pair with the rustic décor. The variety of colors offered in our popular Boston Blend complement any design setting with an elegant touch.

Long concrete driveway was removed and replaced with permeable DG and large full color bluestone pieces. A scattering of planting done in driveway to soften effect.

This project entailed the draining of a 200,000 cubic foot pond which was originally constructed in the early 1900s in order to install a water feature. I had previously dammed the lower pond, which was roughly equivalent in size to the upper pond, with stonework to match the existing stone walkways. The lower pond will be utilized as a catch-basin in an effort to keep the upper pond’s water level at a sufficient height through a pump system.
After the removal of over a 100 years worth of sediment, I began constructing several terraces, stone steps, stone walkways, and several stone retaining walls — all stone features were built without the use of mortar so as to allow plant growth, such as vines and flowering plants to grow through the stonework.
The difficulty I faced, oddly enough, was trying to be as random as possible with the placement of the stones, so as to make the stonework appear as though it had been built alongside some of the pre-existing 100-year-old stone walls scattered across other areas of the property. In essence, I forced myself to leave larger gaps in between stones where I typically wouldn’t, as well as leave some stones protruding from the wall, and allowing the wall to slightly fluctuate in height. All of which required me to become a perfectionist of randomness, which was quite trying of me.
The top 2 feet of the 2,000-foot upper pond was then faced and retained with stone.

In the master bedroom, we gathered several French antiques that had been scattered throughout her former home. Here we have a pair of eclectic partnerings: a delicate settee with graphic Fornasetti pillows, and a marquetry secretary with a funky red acrylic lamp.
