These Condo Apartments are a Mediterranean-inspired style with modern details located in upscale neighborhood of Bugolobi, an upscale suburb of Kampala. This project perfectly caters to the residents lifestyle needs thanks to an expansive outdoor space with scattered play areas for the children to enjoy.

Working from the existing home’s deficits, we designed a bright and classic home well-suited to today’s living. Instead of a dark tunnel-like entry, we have a skylight custom curving stair that no one can believe is not original. Instead of a maze of rooms to reach the gorgeous park-like backyard, we have a clear central axis, allowing a sightline right through from the top of the stairs. Instead of three bedrooms scattered all over the house, we have zoned them to the second floor, each well-proportioned with a true master suite. Painted wood paneling, face-frame cabinets, box-beam beilings and Calacatta counters express the classic grandeur of the home.

Surrounded by vineyards in the Carneros Valley, the house mimics the warehouse aesthetic of wine sheds scattered throughout the surrounding hills of Napa Valley. The interior’s industrial open spaces serve as a cavernous blank canvas for the homeowner’s collection of large-scale modern artwork. The house is inwardly focused, directing attention towards the art. Carefully placed windows frame curated views to the surrounding valley.

Take a look at our latest event! We paired delicate pastel colors with lilac and periwinkle tablecloths on white table runners to create a fun upscale tea party. We added our "Special" touch with butterflies and and ladybugs scattered along the table tops. Our floor arrangements brightened the room with a mix of calla lilies, tulips, gladiolus, pussy willow, and fairly lights.

Before: The original kitchen felt dated and confined by its intrusive peninsula. Builder-grade cabinets offered little storage, the awkward split sink disrupted workflow, and outdated square tile surfaces contributed to the cramped and uninviting feel. With small appliances scattered across limited counter space and dim lighting throughout, our client struggled to make the space functional for daily use.

The design brief for this garden was to create an inviting entry with a woodland feel that would complement the home's earthy color scheme and thoughtful architectural details. Majestic Sequoia sempervirens 'Aptos Blue' (Aptos Blue Coastal Redwood), with its pendant deep blue-green branches, shields the expanded porch from the afternoon sun. Selected for its ability to look good in sun or shade, Carex divulsa (Berkeley sedge) makes a lush ground cover, weaving through the trees and along the new slate walk.
