Exterior forms are emphasized with glass and fiber-cement panels at the top level, soaring over and sheltering containers clad in tougher, leathery Corten Steel at the ground level. Exposed concrete walls and rock-filled gabion retaining was selected to anchor the partially day-lighted basement level and garages to the land. Materials were chosen to be low-maintenance, relatively inexpensive, and to contrast the volumes that express the interior spaces.

Brighten your stairway with LED lights. The Wireless Power Outage LED Lighting Kit is perfect for providing bright backup lighting anywhere in your home or office during a power outage. Also great as supplemental emergency lighting in public buildings. ReadyBright Lights only work in conjunction with our MB220 Power Outage Detector. They will receive a wireless signal when installed within 70 feet of your outlet holding the MB220 for instant light the moment you lose power.

Here's a complete bathroom remodel done for a family in Long Beach. Though this bathroom may look like a simple small and compact bathroom, this room holds a lot of great features. The main attraction of this bathroom comes from the open shower that is accompanied by a accented black tile wall. This shower is also featured with a full length niche for shower accessories and a bench for extra support. The bathroom is enhanced more by the golden features that come from the knobs and faucet. This bathroom is the perfect master bathroom extension.

Fu-Tung Cheng, CHENG Design
• Front Exterior, Del Mar House
Airstream trailers and Quonset huts inspired the design for this house docked against a gentle slope near San Diego. Cheng Design pits hard-edged industrial materials — concrete block, galvanized siding, steel columns, stainless steel cable and welded I-beams — against softer residential elements, such as stained-wood siding and a grid of exposed wood framing that supports the roof.
