A true focal point, the horizontal shiplap accent wall—painted in Sherwin Williams Alabaster—draws the eye immediately, providing a bright and textural contrast behind the white Elina acrylic freestanding tub. This moment feels both classic and fresh, grounding the space in farmhouse tradition while elevating it with a refined edge. Polished chrome hardware ties the design together seamlessly, coordinating with the sleek vanity lights and faucets to deliver a clean, modern touch. In contrast, the white beaded chandelier suspended above the tub introduces a layer of softness and organic texture, gently balancing the sharper lines found throughout the space. Underfoot, Evora White Versailles porcelain tile mirrors the subtle movement and gray undertones found in the ashen gray quartz countertops, creating a cohesive flow from surface to surface. The result is a thoughtfully curated bathroom that feels calm, elevated, and effortlessly timeless.

This early 90's contemporary home was in need of some major updates and when my clients purchased it they were ready to make it their own. The home features large open rooms, great natural light and stunning views of Lake Washington. These clients love bold vibrant colors and clean modern lines so the goal was to incorporate those in the design without it overwhelming the space. Balance was key. The end goal was for the home to feel open and airy yet warm and inviting. This was achieved by bringing in punches of color to an otherwise white or neutral palate. Texture and visual interest were achieved throughout the house through the use of wallpaper, fabrics, and a few one of a kind artworks.

Client contacted us to remove an existing patio and landing. We installed a new patio using Outdoor Living by Belgard Rustic slab with a Laffit border. Linear pavers lead the garden stroller from place to place alongside a rain garden filled with swaying grasses that spans the side yard and culminates at a gracefully arching pomegranate tree, The transformation was completed with a bold and biodiverse selection of low water, climate appropriate plants that make the space come alive. branches laden with impossibly red blossoms and fruit. The elements of a sustainable habitat garden have been designed into the ¬lush landscape. One hundred percent of rainwater runoff is diverted into the two large rain gardens which infiltrate stormwater runoff into the soil. After building up the soil with tons of organic amendments, we added permeable hardscape elements, a water feature, native and climate appropriate plants - including an exceedingly low-water Kurapia lawn - and drip irrigation with a smart timer. With these practices we’ve created a sumptuous wildlife habitat that has become a haven for migratory birds & butterflies.
