Small minimalist black floor powder room photo in Minneapolis with furniture-like cabinets, black cabinets, a two-piece toilet and black walls

The foyer needed something unusual and spectacular to draw the eye upward. We based this mural one something we saw in a private home in Morocco. You can't see the shimmer in the photo, but the mural is painted over aluminum leaf.

Step in this dining room, and your guests can’t help but feel supremely inspired. This space exudes an air of tranquility. The metallic shimmer walls play off the zebra rug and pop-color chairs. Sleek silhouette statues give a feel of ancient regality while the entire space is tied to earth with art by God: an elephant ear selenite rock. Organic, sleek and shimmer greet you and your guests, telling you: yes, this is life.

Serene and cool was our mission for this master bedroom. We used a metallic fabric for the window treatments to create a special shimmer at night.

This destination project features three bars. The Martini bar is on the main floor off the kitchen and shimmers with minimalist luxury. The designer opted to bring the Phillip Jeffries wallpaper up to cover the ceiling, giving the space a jewel-box effect. High-gloss, forest green cabinetry with inlay brass trim satin brass faucet, and brass hardware all shine with the help of LED-lit upper displays. Taj Mahal Quartzite countertops provide worry-free entertaining surfaces.

This is our house in NH and we love to show it off! High and dry in Center Harbor, NH, our view captures an almost panoramic view of Squam Lake, Red Hill, The Sandwich Mountain Range and even glimpses of Waterville Valley off in the distance. The Goshen stone for the walkway and patio was sourced in Goshen, Ma. Each piece of stone was hand selected, then templated and fit together by chiseling each stone. The resulting patchwork of curves on the ground plane is reminiscent of the mountain tops above. The muted colors of the stone shimmer and play off the sky and hills. Abundant perennial gardens flourish and become a haven for birds and pollinators throughout the growing season. Under a blanket NH snow, perennials sleep in anticipation of a reawakening each spring.

The Kohler Devonshire 8 inch widespread faucet done in polished chrome, with it's subtle shine and shimmer, it is a perfect compliment to the white/grey marble and adds just the right amount of sparkle to the vanity area. The white, recessed panel cabinetry and the two tall towers on either side of the sink is the perfect supporting cast member and provides the homeowners with oodles of storage space they requested.
The cabinets that flank either side of the sink have outlets inside to provide a perfect storage place for any appliances that require electricity and can be stored out of sight when not in use without having to be unplugged. After all, who wants to look at blow driers, water picks or curling irons on a gorgeous marble countertop?
