A powder room on the first floor is a joy. We made the most of this small space by making every choice count. The mirror features capiz shells, the vanity is clean and neat, and the flooring a really great marble tile. Choose the right paint color and a window treatment that offers privacy yet filters light, and you've got a functional yet beautiful space that can hold up to the rigors of kids and visitors.

Joe Palimeno has always been inspired by the work of Landscape Architect Robert Royston, a pioneering modernist who helped define landscape architecture in the early 1940s. Palimeno has said about past designs, “it has always been the driving force in my design work, to create functional and usable outdoor spaces, whether in a backyard garden or a regional use plan. The goal is the creation of delight, joy and serenity for the people who inhabit the space.”
In this backyard, where crisp, clean lines run across the lawn to meet a vertical raw wood structure, a space is defined to offer serenity and relaxation.

In this project, I had to redecorate a traditional country house in order to adjust the differences between the interior and the exterior of the house. The interior was quite simple and unexpressive despite of the exterior, which was colourful and joyful.
This project is a good exemple of a BEFORE/AFTER, because I used the entire old furniture, but I gave them a modern touch.
Here is the result, a friendly and cozy countryside house.

Renovation of a classic Minneapolis bungalow included this family bathroom. An adjacent closet was converted to a walk-in glass shower and small sinks allowed room for two vanities. The mirrored wall and simple palette helps make the room feel larger. Playful accents like cow head towel hooks from CB2 and custom children's step stools add interest and function to this bathroom. The hexagon floor tile was selected to be in keeping with the original 1920's era of the home.
This bathroom used to be tiny and was the only bathroom on the 2nd floor. We chose to spend the budget on making a very functional family bathroom now and add a master bathroom when the children get bigger. This Desk is a standing contrast to the average working desks. Clean and soft edges. Straight and thin lines. A whole class apart. It is, by nature of the design, clutter free, so you can increase your concentration and enjoy the joy of modern writing furniture. Sleek, simple and the epitome of Scandinavian design, elegant golden brushed framework, the aesthetics are able to overwhelm you with their simple beauty.

As a recently purchased home, our clients quickly decided they needed to make some major adjustments. The home was pretty outdated and didn’t speak to the young family’s unique style, but we wanted to keep the welcoming character of this Mediterranean bungalow in tact. The classic white kitchen with a new layout is the perfect backdrop for the family. Brass accents add a touch of luster throughout and modernizes the fixtures and hardware.
While the main common areas feature neutral color palettes, we quickly gave each room a burst of energy through bright accent colors and patterned textiles. The kids’ rooms are the most playful, showcasing bold wallcoverings, bright tones, and even a teepee tent reading nook.
