For this open-concept home, we created a contemporary look with modern farmhouse touches using vibrant blues and greens mixed with an organic stone fireplace and exposed ceiling beams. We integrated subtle but powerful chevron prints, which paired nicely with the clean, tailored furnishings. Overall, this design proves that fun and vibrant can merge with neutral and sophisticated -- which offered our clients the best of both worlds. Home located in Mississauga, Ontario. Dynamic patterns join with organic forms to take this bathroom design to a softer, warmer side of modern. Drawing on the natural world for inspiration, from earthy tones to gently curved fixtures, the space conveys a sense of active serenity and quiet optimism that connects us with the steadying energy of nature.

A perennial favorite in interior design, black is a practiced shapeshifter, able to straddle the worlds of both classic and contemporary styles with confidence. This kitchen bridges the gap between old and new as well, creating a fresh, of-the-moment feel. It’s designed for entertaining with three separate sinks and function-rich faucets.

Maximizing the functionality of this space, and coordinating the new kitchen with the beautiful remodel completed previously by the client were the two most important aspects of this project. The existing spaces are elegantly decorated with an open plan, dark hardwood floors, and natural stone accents. The new, lighter, more open kitchen flows beautifully into the client’s existing dining room space. Satin nickel hardware blends with the stainless steel appliances and matches the satin nickel details throughout the home. The fully integrated refrigerator next to the narrow pull-out pantry cabinet, take up less visual weight than a traditional stainless steel appliance and the two combine to provide fantastic storage. The glass cabinet doors and decorative lighting beautifully highlight the client’s glassware and dishes.
