Ample amounts of glazing brighten the interior of the home, while framing the classic Central California landscape. Large pocketing sliding doors disappear when open, to effortlessly blend the main interior living spaces with the outdoor patios. The stone spine wall runs from the exterior through the home, housing two different fireplaces that can be enjoyed indoors and out. Because the clients work from home, the plan was outfitted with two offices that provide bright and calm work spaces separate from the main living area. The interior of the home features a floating glass stair, a glass entry tower and two master decks outfitted with a hot tub and outdoor shower. Through working closely with the landscape architect, this rather contemporary home blends into the site to maximize the beauty of the surrounding rural area.

The Chattahoochee River Residence is a three level single-family dwelling comprised of 5,300 square feet of conditioned space, located directly on the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, Georgia. The program includes open and interconnected living spaces, three bedrooms, a fitness room, a cubby wall feature, and exterior entertainment spaces including a covered terrace and elevated deck overlooking the river.

Jasmine Residence is a renovation of a single-story ranch house in Denver, Colorado. Two accordion folding glass doors connect the main living space with the rear yard and the neighborhood street. This effectively creates a large breezeway that can be opened up for three seasons annually. The second story addition expands the house's existing program to include a new master suite and a loft.

This dense cluster of 20 units is a unique mix of uses, containing 4 duplex units and 4 triplex units that include ground floor commercial or work / live units. The commercial units face the busy boulevard, and the rear units address the low density residential context of single family homes. The architecture is a response to the mixed programming, reflecting the industrial history of the area along with warmer residential qualities. The design is punctuated with outdoor rooms that provide the spaces throughout with light and air from all sides. Materials intentionally appear as applied as a reference to the notion of architecture as fashion - most of the homes in the area have an applied style. In this respect, the project is fully integrated into its context.

Secondary bathroom from a complete luxury home remodel in Newport Coast — proof that the project's full-slab standard ran through every bathroom in the house, not just the primary. Coastline Builders Group wrapped the walk-in shower in dramatic dark-veined natural stone slab behind frameless glass, with the same stone topping the custom vanity, matte black fixtures throughout, and new custom cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, and lighting. Each of the home's bathrooms carries a different slab selection — a fabrication program across the whole house rather than a single showcase room.

Solid Apollo LED. This inclosed city patio was brought to life with the addition of vibrant color changing LED lights. Along the main wall color changing RGB LED Strip Light was laid flush in the ground. The planter boxes along the other wall had Pathway Outdoor LED Landscaping Lights each to bring the palm plants to life. All the lights were tied together so single colors and color changing programs could be played in sequence using the 10 Zone RGBW controller.

This Jersey City, NJ space was the first permanent ‘home’ for the yoga studio, so it was essential for us to listen well and design a space to serve their needs for years to come. Through our design process, we helped to guide the owners through the fit-out of their new studio location that required minimal demolition and disruption to the existing space. Together, we converted a space originally used as a preschool into a welcoming, spacious yoga studio for local yogis. We created one main yoga studio by combining four small classrooms into a single larger space with new walls, while all the other program spaces (including designated areas for holistic treatments, massage, and bodywork) were accommodated into pre-existing rooms. Our team completed all demo, sheetrock, electrical, and painting aspects of the project. (The studio owners did some of the work themselves, and a different company installed the flooring and carpets.) Nestled at the end of a long flag lot driveway in Amagansett, NY, a young couple purchased the property with intentions to construct a second home for their growing family. A home that would not only be comfortable for the immediate family but also serve and grow on busy summer weekends to accommodate extended family, friends, children and guests. The tight lot along with the sizable program culminated in the building envelope being pushed to every limit, restriction and regulation one could imagine. The resulting architecture possesses a traditional Hamptons cottage exterior juxtaposed with modern elements that help break up the single mass. Centered on the entry façade is a large double story window that shrouds the floating switchback staircase on the interior. A bluestone patio wraps three sides of the home, which, in the rear, leads to a small in ground pool with a frameless glass railing. In the interior, custom white washed white oak floors run throughout the home as well as on the floating central staircase. For a more modern style of living, the open living, kitchen and dining area serve as one large entertaining space. In an area surrounded by sprawling Mcmansions, this tightly knit home functions more similar to that of a large NYC apartment by serving the perfect balance between maximized form with the right amount of function given the strict parameters. Large glass sliders open the living and dining rooms to the backyard patio and pool creating harmony between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Shaker style cabinets in the kitchen pair with a more contemporary staircase softened by the warmer wood tones of the vertical slats that surround it.

In this awesome game room, Color Changing RGB LED Lights have been placed around the entire cove of the basement ceiling for incredible lighting effects showing either a single custom color, or mulitple colors when the RGB LED Controller is used with the built in color changing programs. The RGB LED Strip Lights were easy to add as the thin low profile design and easy stick double sided tape on the back of the strip light make installation quick. The lights are controlled using Solid Apollo's LED Wizard Smartphone & Tablet LED Controller for easy lighting control using any smartphone or tablet. The incredible range of colors possible compliment any game room or man cave and like here, where the brightness fills the entire room, the controllers have full brightness settings which can also be turned down to as low as 10% for soft accent lighting. So when playing pool or enjoying drinks at the bar, the color changing lights can br turned to full brightness to create an incredible energized atmosphere, or when stopping to watch your favorite game, the lights can be turned down for subtle background accent lighting.

The site for this waterfront residence is located on the Great Neck Peninsula, facing west to views of NYC and the borough bridges. When purchased, there existed a 50-year-old house and pool structurally condemned which required immediate removal. Once the site was cleared, a year was devoted to stabilizing the seawall and hill to accommodate the newly proposed home. The lot size, shape and relationship to an easement access road, overlaid with strict zoning regulations was a key factor in the organization of the client’s program elements. The arc contour of the easement road and required setback informed the front facade shape, which was designed as a privacy screen, as adjacent homes are in close proximity. Due to strict height requirements the house from the street appears to be one story and then steps down the hill allowing for three fully occupiable floors. The local jurisdiction also granted special approval accepting the design of the garage, within the front set back, as its roof is level with the roadbed and fully landscaped. A path accesses a hidden door to the bedroom level of the house. The garage is accessed through a semicircular driveway that leads to a depressed entry courtyard, offering privacy to the main entrance. The configuration of the home is a U-shape surrounding a rear courtyard. This shape, along with suspended pods assures water views to all occupants while not compromising privacy from the adjacent homes. The house is constructed on a steel frame, clad with fiber cement, resin panels and an aluminum curtain wall system. All roofs are accessible as either decks or landscaped garden areas. The lower level accesses decks, an outdoor kitchen, and pool area which are perched on the edge of the upper retaining wall.
