A relatively new product from Ralph Lauren, this is Polished Patina in "Old Rock Crystal". It is a troweled finish that has a lovely pearlized effect and looks beautiful in any room.

Stretched brushed lime paint should be applied in vertical movements using a brush. Slight variations with subtle striated nuances appear, reminiscent of antique walls. This vertical effect gives a matte and delicate grain to the wall. This lime wash coating gives a sober yet highly decorative style with a traditional natural finish and subtle striated nuances. The stretched effect is perfectly suited for medium shades. OR Cloudy brushed lime paint should be applied in regular movements at different angles, using a brush. This technique creates nuances reminiscent of the marks on antique walls. Cloudy brushed lime paint gives a dense and textured decorative look with its matte grained finish. The cloudy effect embellishes light, medium and dark shades. Burnished lime paint should be applied using a stainless steel trowel and in rounded, supple layers. This visual effect is that of the lustrous lime wash in Ancient Rome which has been perpetuated by various cultures including Tadelakt in Morocco. Burnished lime paint renders a spectacular mineral look with matte and shiny variations which you can accentuate by using our water-based finishing wax. Ideal for light and medium shades.

As avid snowboarders, the residents of a recreational home at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort wanted a house that had both respect for, and presence in the rugged mountain landscape. The home features plan elements that weave in and out of the massive heavy timber superstructure. Architectural elements such as the extensive use of wood paneling on the walls and the heavy timbers on the low ceiling help to create a warm and inviting feel within the cold Rocky Mountains. McKinley Burkart headed both the interior design and architecture on this project and it has recently been used as the backdrop for a major clothing label’s winter catalogue.

Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless enclosed light wood floor and brown floor family room remodel in DC Metro with yellow walls, a standard fireplace, a brick fireplace and a media wall

First things first…this renovation was certainly a labor of love for everyone involved, from our amazing clients, to the contractors, vendors and us, this project consumed all of us and the outcome is more than Gorgeous. This contemporary home is nestled back in a a great area of St Louis County. A brick ranch with contemporary touches…once adorned glass blocked bar and stairwell, a tiny galley kitchen and a remodeled garage that once housed their “dining and hearth room” but no one ever used that space. CURE Senior Designer, Cori Dyer took this space, completely and brilliantly re worked the configuration and entire floor plan and layout. Tearing out the dividing wall from the kitchen and what was once the garage, allowed the new kitchen layout to be flipped to the now long perpendicular wall, and created an open mega kitchen with great natural light, double islands, eat in kitchen and seating area, bar and open the great room. You can stand among the space at any point and are able to take in the entire view. Creating an uber chic space doesn’t happen on its own…it takes intricate design, research and planning. Custom made cabinets, a double island featuring two surfaces a butcher block and unforgettable marble. This clean color palette plays well with the new custom furniture in the great room, creating a seating area that sparks conversations.

Used in the water closet, two walk-in closets, and main floor space, the tile makes a big impact while being a breeze to clean. Paired with Sherwin Williams Ellis Gray paint for a crisp update.
