A young family moving from NYC tackled a lightning fast makeover of their new colonial revival home before the arrival of their second child. In Miami, Florida, Alberto Latorre Architecture designed The Miami Studio — a sculptural white ADU that doubles as an artist's studio and gallery. Slim-profile NanaWall SL45 folding glass doors form a glass wall that opens the studio to the garden, flooding the space with daylight for making and showing work, then folding away completely so the studio can host openings that spill outdoors. Minimal black framing keeps sightlines clean against the building's curved white form, and at night the glass becomes a surface for projected art. The result is a flexible creative space that works as a private studio by day and a gallery open to the landscape when it's time to gather.
