Want a great way to utilize a small Toronto yard? Build a 4 1/2-foot deep plunge pool with all the extras, including a winterized spill over spa. The pool's light gray Armorcoat interior is framed beautifully with Wiarton Ebel flagstone coping, deck and feature wall, which includes three sheer descent waterfalls. A convenient underwater bench extends from the entry stairs, while a notch on the end wall has a swim out bench for easy access to the adjoining sitting area. Pool equipment is quietly out of view in the garage and large mirrored panels on a custom perimeter fence lend a feeling of spaciousness. (15 x 18, custom rectangular)

The existing pool was way too large for the space, it took up the entire back yard.

This new home, like some in mid-town Toronto, occupies a half-width lot of 25’. The long narrow home had a tiny backyard, with only 32’ from the house to the property line. The owners were hoping to have a pool, so they asked Betz how they could get maximum enjoyment from the minimal space available.

The owners of this small Toronto backyard wanted to maximize the presence of water while retaining some existing features and providing space for lounging and entertaining. Thus the pool and spa were placed adjacent to the existing pergola and stone feature wall. Wairton Ebel coping and flagstone deck were chosen to match existing materials, while the pool is primarily deep throughout to boost swimming enjoyment. A fountain on the feature wall spills into a catch basin below adding the sounds of tinkling water. (18 x 23, custom rectangular)

Located in the private Cypress Point neighborhood in Plano, this small backyard was transformed from a small garden area to an updated and modern outdoor living area. In addition to the new covered porch and fire place, we have added outdoor seating for chaise lounges, along with a modern plunge pool & spa with raised backdrop fountain feature. The project also features built-in seating, fountain spillways, decorative pool tile, step stones and all new landscaping to provide a lush, private retreat for the owners.
