The glass art the homeowners have collected over the years are displayed in a custom designed cabinet with accent lighting. The cabinetry also functions as a room divider and houses much storage as well as folding chairs. The custom area rug mirrors the tribal art and beautiful Silas Seandel glass and metal cocktail tables add to the comfort and enjoyment of the room.

In Lisbon’s Alcântara neighborhood, a son inherited his father’s apartment and relocated from the UK with his partner to immerse themselves in Portuguese culture. Without altering the floor plan, our studio sought to bring clarity and lightness to the interiors, designing spaces that are both versatile and efficient, incorporating built-in furniture, artworks, and personal mementos.
Throughout, the material palette plays with contrast and suspension. Cream stone floors are complemented by warm walnut finishes and airy white sheer curtains. Tailored cabinetry enhances spatial lightness by either floating, as seen with the distinct wall-mounted hall console and bedside tables, or by integrating subtly with the existing carpentry, such as the dresser extending beneath the window and the bay window's dining bench with concealed storage.
Bespoke solutions cater to the living room’s diverse functions, including dining, reading, lounging, and occasionally painting. A niche beside the fireplace is home to a suspended walnut shelving system, intended to showcase a curated collection of ceramics and travel souvenirs. The room’s angled layout is tempered by a central composition of circular elements: a dining table, rug, and custom coffee table with a floating top. The dining area is completed with reissued vintage Portuguese classics.
The kitchen includes a small breakfast nook, delineated by traditional hand-painted tiles from the nearby historic Sant’Anna factory, and a matching upholstered bench. These details come together to create a luminous, functional space that gently reflects the past while accommodating contemporary life.

In this luxury, new construction home, our clients desired this custom ‘zen’ bar as part of their dining and living space. It was important to combine elegance with functionality. Tasking such a lovely, custom furniture piece with a long list of responsibilities was quite a challenge but we were able to get the job done beautifully with creativity and custom cabinetry. Together we created a space that had the duty of displaying priceless souvenirs, providing ample storage space, creating a fun, yet elegant ambiance, and keeping beverages chilled and ready to be served. The bar features a kegerator with built-in beer tap and a hammered nickel sink. With the goal of making this piece truly custom, glass floating shelves were designed that allow light to pass through and up-light anything on display but still have the appearance of typical 3” wooden shelves. The wooden pieces were routed to allow for both the lighting strip and the glass, creating the perfect display shelves for any memento.

The homeowners undertook an extensive renovation to update and enhance their compact home. While one of the owners possesses culinary talents, the other is an avid gardener who enjoys preserving the harvests from their garden. Our design theme integrates the clients’ passions for traveling and fine food, incorporating treasured souvenirs and botanical finds. The design concept is transitional, reflecting a preference for clean modern accents but centers on the clients’ love of travel, particularly the charm and comfort of the European countryside and its quaint bistros. Welcome to a warm and cozy completely updated 1960s Newport Beach ranch-style home. This young family has traveled extensively and brought souvenirs and color into a clean and modern home. The kitchen was given a major facelift with clean white cabinetry, a modern marble tile mosaic backsplash, stainless steel appliances and shiny new copper pendant lighting.

Bright and warm, this kitchen is open and inviting. Expertly laid ceramic tiles make up the backsplash, with a pop of personality in the form of some hand-crafted souvenir tiles.

This home office also serves as a family room and has a desk for work and also a television. This home office also serves as a family room and has a desk for work and also a television. Everything is kept neat and tidy thanks to two large Eames storage units manufactured by Herman Miller that feature lots of closed and open storage. The color palette is kept bright with bleached wood white floors and super white walls by Benjamin Moore. The wood tones of the storage plus the light wood picture frame add both warmth and dimension to the space. The addition of a CB2 bookcase brings the eye upward and adds 7 shelves of additional open storage.

Our Northern Virginia interior design studio gave this incredible 1970s contemporary home a full facelift with thoughtful decor, and stylish furnishing. The kitchen was given a fun, sophisticated look with lovely slate-grey cabinets and luxe hardware. Our clients are avid travelers and have a lovely collection of souvenirs from around the world. By designing beautiful display shelves and console tables, we ensured that every piece of their treasure found a hallowed spot in the home. Besides, our penchant for the arts is visible throughout the home where stunningly curated artwork adorns the beautifully painted walls.
