n this stunning, newly built, custom home it was important to be able to design a kitchen that tied in both elegant aesthetics and efficient performance. This kitchen includes gorgeous floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, concealing large appliances such as the freezer and refrigerator with custom appliance panels and giving the kitchen next-level charm and sophistication. The stacked wall cabinets incorporate gorgeous framed glass upper doors which serve as the perfect display case for delicate china and priceless souvenirs. The magnificent premium-alder, raisin-stained wood-hood acts as a focal point with functionality. It contains, on either side of the cooktop, convenient pull out spice racks allowing for optimal organization and accessibility while cooking. The massive, raisin-stained island compliments the hood and features an extra bar sink and luxurious 6mm Cambria quartz countertops. For the family room, we installed a White KATA rug. It gave the old space some edge to play with. Plus, even though it's white hair, it's so kid and family friendly! Very easy to clean and to maintain, so the veredict is in: the fam loves it! Between countertop material and tile they jumped at the chance to go through our design process. We made it quick and easy to build out the renderings for them to see everything all together. Right after Demo Day they decided they wanted to change their wall color to go better with the cabinet colors they fell in love with. We grabbed our color wheel, made a recommendation and the walls were painted within days of their decision. We couldn’t believe the difference it made! Their kitchen went from Olive and dated to Jasper Stone and refreshed (that’s the wall colors we are referring to…). Now that we have shifted some of the appliances and installed the storage solutions the flow and functionality are outstanding. Happy Kitchen = Happy Cooking
