Step into a space that seamlessly blends functional organization, relaxation, and a touch of fun. The renovation journey unfolded with a meticulous focus on the home's architecture, the client's design preferences, and the need for a practical yet stylish family environment. The primary bathroom takes center stage in promoting relaxation, featuring a spa-like ambiance with soothing colors, heated floors, a beautiful soaking tub, and gentle under-counter lighting creating a tranquil atmosphere. A cleverly integrated cabinet space is also available, providing a discreet storage solution for the less aesthetically pleasing litter box while ensuring easy access for our feline friends. In the kitchen, attention to detail shines through with a stunning wood-trimmed vent hood and wooden pulls that punctuate the Indigo Blue cabinets, introducing natural elements and a touch of warmth. Ample storage was a crucial requirement for this kitchen. Featuring expansive pull-out drawers, a concealed lazy Susan, impressive spice storage, and a discreet power source for the cordless vacuum, every detail has been considered for optimal functionality. Connected to the kitchen, you'll discover a dining area designed for versatility. This multipurpose zone seamlessly integrates wine storage, pantry space, a dedicated baking center, cocktail preparation area, and a convenient coffee zone. The main level's powder room pays homage to the homeowners' roots, boasting a vibrant wallpaper by Chasing Paper that adds a playful touch. The harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality continues with an additional mixed-use space that serves as a delightful getaway, complete with outdoor access and ample countertop space for both utility and enjoyment. The residents of this grand house in the Withrow Park area of Toronto were looking to replace their existing rear addition that was in a poor state of repair. The challenge was to design a beautiful, yet durable replacement. The solution was a modern structure housed in a high-performance building envelope with a fine balance of industrial and natural building materials. The renewed space was designed for a family of five to house generous and flexible spaces that could accommodate change depending on the seasons, as the children grow or as family members age. A strongly defined red metal cube overhangs the ground floor, protecting more delicate and tactile elements where the house opens to a sheltered garden. The tile red corrugated metal cladding is paired with mahogany wood doors and windows marrying these warm colour tones. The large sliding doors allow the living area to spill outside into an outdoor dining area. In turn, the garden provides a green backdrop to the interior space. Avid cyclists, the rear entry and mudroom allow good proximity to the bicycle shed in the garden. Full height lockers are screened by a mahogany-stained wood slat screen separating the entry space from the main room. The lockers are optimally designed to house bike helmets and backpacks, with hooks and hanging space for coats and jackets and hidden drawers for mitts and hats. A bathroom complete with shower sits directly off the mudroom for easy access. On the second floor, a large, open room provides a shared bedroom for two children, with a small balcony on the north side

Custom-built millwork and integrated storage solutions allowed us to keep the space minimalist without compromising on functionality.​ ✦ Warm Modernism: To contrast the building’s steel-and-glass architecture, we brought in natural stone, matte wood finishes, and warm lighting. Curated textures and neutral tones created a soft yet sophisticated atmosphere.​ ✦ 3D Visualization Precision: Leveraging high-end 3D modeling and photorealistic rendering, we presented the design in full detail—allowing the client to walk through the space virtually, make informed decisions, and see exactly how each element would look and feel.​ ✦ Tailored Detailing: Every aspect was custom—from the furniture selection and lighting scenarios to the precise alignment of veined marble in the bathroom. Cabinetry: Out with the old and in with the new! We installed brand-new cabinets to revitalize the kitchen's storage and aesthetics. The upper cabinets were replaced with taller 36" or 42" ones, elegantly enhancing the room's vertical space while preserving its original design integrity. The addition of lower cabinet drawers maximized convenience and accessibility. Countertops: The existing dark granite countertops spanning 67 square feet were replaced with stunning Quartz surfaces. This upgrade not only refreshed the kitchen's appearance but also elevated its durability and ease of maintenance. Flooring: To modernize the flooring, we incorporated Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) over the existing 550 square feet of tile. This transformation brought contemporary elegance while preserving the integrity of the space.

New bathrooms, a redesigned kitchen, and custom millwork shine in the open living space, optimized for stunning views. What a transformation here- two pantry type closets and a wall were removed to create this open feel and allow for a large island with seating for 4, a coffee/ beverage center with plenty of storage. The pantry cabinets are separated by a bank of base cabinets and counter adding to the functionality and flow. This space is designed for entertaining and allows the chef to have a very functional area to create while remaining part of the party. White and a lighter wood finish cabinetry with marble backsplash & quartz countertops keep a light feel to this open space.
