Here's what our clients from this project had to say:
We LOVE coming home to our newly remodeled and beautiful 41 West designed and built home! It was such a pleasure working with BJ Barone and especially Paul Widhalm and the entire 41 West team. Everyone in the organization is incredibly professional and extremely responsive. Personal service and strong attention to the client and details are hallmarks of the 41 West construction experience. Paul was with us every step of the way as was Ed Jordon (Gary David Designs), a 41 West highly recommended designer. When we were looking to build our dream home, we needed a builder who listened and understood how to bring our ideas and dreams to life. They succeeded this with the utmost honesty, integrity and quality!
41 West has exceeded our expectations every step of the way, and we have been overwhelmingly impressed in all aspects of the project. It has been an absolute pleasure working with such devoted, conscientious, professionals with expertise in their specific fields. Paul sets the tone for excellence and this level of dedication carries through the project. We so appreciated their commitment to perfection...So much so that we also hired them for two more remodeling projects.
We love our home and would highly recommend 41 West to anyone considering building or remodeling a home.

The Loon Room: Kids bunk room-As a weekly rental property built specifically for family vacations and group trips, maximizing comfortable sleeping space was a top priority. We used the extra-large bonus room above the garage as a bunk room designed for kids, but still comfortable enough for adult guests in larger groups. With 4 twin beds and a twin over full bunk this room sleeps 7 with some leftover space for a craft area and library stocked with children and young adult books.
While the slanted walls were a decorating challenge, we used the same paint color on all of the walls and ceilings to wrap the room in one cohesive color without drawing attention to the lines. The faux beams and nautical jute rope light fixtures added some fun, whimsical elements that evoke a campy, boating theme without being overly nautical, since the house is on a lake and not on the ocean. Some other great design elements include a large dresser with boat cleat pulls, and some vintage oars and a boat motor mounted to the wall on the far side of the room.

Huge re-model including taking ceiling from a flat ceiling to a complete transformation. Bamboo custom cabinetry was given a grey stain, mixed with walnut strip on the bar and the island given a different stain. Huge amounts of storage from deep pan corner drawers, roll out trash, coffee station, built in refrigerator, wine and alcohol storage, appliance garage, pantry and appliance storage, the amounts go on and on. Floating shelves with a back that just grabs the eye takes this kitchen to another level. The clients are thrilled with this huge difference from their original space.

The foyer is a minimal space lending itself to a specific need, thereby the design is kept purposeful and specific. Every element of this home was designed with attention to detail, ensuring the space is both practical and reflective of the couple’s timeless preferences.

Each mosaic possesses its own character. With dedication and attention to detail, all of our custom designs are produced specifically to our clients’ requests. Meticulously placing and hand shaping each individual piece of mosaic to perfection, we are capable of achieving the most impressive and realistic effects.

Located near Seattle’s Burke Gilman bike trail, this project is a design for a new house for an active Seattle couple. The design takes advantage of the width of a double lot and views of the lake, city and mountains toward the southwest. Primary living and sleeping areas are located on the ground floor, allowing for the owners to stay in the house as their mobility decreases. The upper level is loft like, and has space for guests and an office.
The building form is high and open at the front, and steps down toward the back, making the backyard quiet, private space. An angular roof form specifically responds to the interior space, while subtly referencing the conventional gable forms of neighboring houses.

This beautiful lakefront New Jersey home is replete with exquisite design. The sprawling living area flaunts super comfortable seating that can accommodate large family gatherings while the stonework fireplace wall inspired the color palette. The game room is all about practical and functionality, while the master suite displays all things luxe. The fabrics and upholstery are from high-end showrooms like Christian Liaigre, Ralph Pucci, Holly Hunt, and Dennis Miller. Lastly, the gorgeous art around the house has been hand-selected for specific rooms and to suit specific moods.
