The Bellenger Project features a natural jump rock in the place of a diving board and stone coping and stairs surrounding the pool. The pool includes a spillover spa and variable speed pump to allow you to adjust the flow speed and sound. The backyard also incorporates a Tiki Hut to bring in a tropical vibe and provide shade from the sun and elements on hot days.

This homeowner had a design challenge for our team. They were looking for something completely unique and special for their back yard. In a neighborhood with "nice" pools they didn't want something ordinary. Our designer/builder, Al Curtis, proposed something completely new. He proposed a swimming pool, built freeform, gunite, with a raised waterfall spilling, finished with the same quartzite coping as the pool, over into the pool, with a swim in grotto and a boat as a seating area at the deep end of the pool. His original idea had him taking an actual boat, reclaiming and reusing it to create this custom feature. The homeowners had other ideas once they heard his crazy cool idea, and asked if he could build it out of concrete. Of course, Al and our entire team was thrilled with the challenge, and hand crafted the boat you see entirely out of concrete, hand shaped, sculpted and molded the cement to form with such attention to detail that you can't tell from a distance that it is not a real boat hovering at the deep end of this pool! The boat was finished with a few reclaimed details from the actual boat it was modeled after...since details are just a part of the surprise and delight in a Legendary Escape, they add just the right elements to make this a very real experience.
The homeowner also asked for a different type of coping next to the raised spillover gunite spa, to create the illusion of a swim up bar on the edge of the pool. The pool guy took this idea, raised the pool wall, added a custom poured concrete bar, and added a swim up ledge and in-pool bar stools with seats created out of concrete and stainless steel stands. The perfect custom features, finished with the thermoplastic of ecoFinish, the newest and best trend for a smoother more comfortable swimming surface for gunite pools, spas, sun ledges and seats that we use on our Michigan custom swimming pools, whether hybrid (vinyl liner/gunite combo) or all gunite swimming pools and spas.
With the boat in place, it only made sense to create the outside of the grotto as if it were the boat house, for this one of a kind speedboat. The waterfall coming over the face of the grotto has two speeds, fast and warp speed...so jumping off, swimming through the waterfall, or heading down the slide from the dock/wharf patio area adjacent to the boat is a terrific way for kids and adults to enjoy this pool!
Swim into the grotto and you are immersed in a 3-dimensional cave, with carvings of fish in vibrant color hand sculpted and painted by Karen, one of our on the job artisans who is instrumental in helping bring our sculptures and always surprising elements to life. Karen has an artistic whimsy, though she is also precise and accurate as she specializes in placing the coping just right and always making sure the tile is just right on every project.
To complete this project landscaping, the homeowners looked to Jodi Cook, of Naturally Jodi to create a landscape that blended with the pool area to create a unique feel for the space. She used a variety of plants, ornamental trees, and even created pillars like you would see at a marina to complete the look. Once her landscaping was in, Al added a surprise element at the end of the dock - a lifesize alligator with a fishing rod catching a fish - as just one more detail to this project. Al, and his entire team aim to create a magical environment, where around every corner is just one more surprise that completes the awe and inspiring joy when visiting on of our Legendary Escapes!
To say the homeowners are delighted just may be an understatement. Their kick off party included visits from superheros and Disney characters - enjoying all the elements of this backyard retreat in Rochester, Michigan.

Our recent job in the College area features a mid-century up-date. The Cabinetry is quarter sawn ebony and gloss white acrylic. A Miele appliance package consisting of a refrigerator, speed-oven, coffeemaker, wine storage, 36″ range and concealed hood was chosen to add sophisticated functionality to this kitchen. The other noticeable finishes are the quartz counter-top and Dawn Kitchen & Bath Products, Inc. 16 gallon stainless steel sink. All products and finishes were chosen from our show room. One stop kitchen remodel source.

Base cabinets and tall pantries from the Aran Cucine Erika collection with a white glossy finish and c-channel handle. Wall cabinets from the Bijou collection in Grigio Tundra matte glass. Quartz countertop and backsplash by Silestone in White Zeus, fabricated and installed by Bay Stoneworks. Appliances include a large double-sided refrigerator by Thermador, oven and speed oven by Miele, range hood by Zypher, dishwasher by Bosch, and gas cooktop by Wolf.

Elite Landscaping removed an old vinyl liner pool from this home in a premier Omaha neighborhood. The goal was to install a new, concrete infinity-edge pool and spa with accessible pool deck. And we accomplished so much more!
During the backyard remodel, the yard was elevated by 7.5 feet to improve access from the house to the pool deck with just three steps and a wheelchair-accessible ramp. More than 3,000 sq. feet of natural Travertine were installed for the pool deck, with stone veneer accents around the seating areas and firepit. An outdoor kitchen was installed, featuring polished granite countertops, a Fire Magic grill, Black Diamond appliances, and ample storage drawers.
The pool structure boasts a 16-foot wide infinity edge, which is adorned with Black Galaxy iridescent glass tile. The pool wall is topped with fire/water bowls that cascade into the pool. A raised, double spa with 11-foot black granite ‘sheerfall’ edge also cascades into the pool.
The custom concrete pool and raised spa each have their own variable speed pumps and heating systems for separate water flow and temperature control. Both can be fully automated through a smartphone or other smart device with the Pentair IntelliTouch system. An app allows homeowners to program LED lights, adjust temperature and water flow speeds, and test pool chemistry.

The PLJW 109 wall mount range hood can also double as an under cabinet hood! That's not the only way this hood is versatile. It features a 4-speed blower, adapting to a wide variety of cooking styles. Just push the button to set the blower to the higher speed for more intense cooking, and vice versa for your less demanding food in the kitchen. Easy!
This wall range hood includes two heat lamp sockets to warm your food before it's served. And if you don't need these, they also double as additional lighting. Once you're done cooking, you can easily remove the stainless steel baffle filters. Wash these by hand with soap and warm water or toss them in the dishwasher – they won't become damaged.

The decision to replace the conventional oven and microwave with a start-of-the-art speed oven was made to save space while implementing an innovative appliance. The speed oven is located in the island, below the cooktop. It is centrally located in the kitchen with easy access to all cabinets and countertops.
The property is a 700 square foot condo. The homeowner's goal was to have his 40+ year old unit transformed into a brand new space. To accomplish this, we gutted the entire unit; we replaced the popcorn ceiling with new drywall, replaced the old flooring with maple engineered wood flooring, removed the mirrored walls and painted the drywall a soothing neutral gray, and removed the kitchen walls and bulkheads to create an open concept.
Additions include: Handsome crown moulding and custom baseboards, Sherwin Williams wall, ceiling and trim paint (the ceiling is NOT white), LED recessed light fixtures, custom island pendants, Quartz countertops, custom dining chandelier, custom shelving over the kitchen sink and custom "iron pipe" design to house existing telephone wires (building restricted the removal of existing phone line).
