This fun basement space wears many hats. First, it is a large space for this extended family to gather and entertain when the weather brings everyone inside. Surrounding this area is a gaming station, a large screen movie spot. a billiards area, foos ball and poker spots too. Many different activities are being served from this design. Dark Grey cabinets are accented with taupe quartz counters for easy clean up. Glass wear is accessible from the full height wall cabinets so everyone from 6 to 60 can reach. There is a sink, a dishwasher drawer, ice maker and under counter refrigerator to keep the adults supplied with everything they could need. High top tables and comfortable seating makes you want to linger. A secondary cabinet area is for the kids. Serving bowls and platters are easily stored and a designated under counter refrigerator keeps kid friendly drinks chilled. A shimmery wall covering makes the walls glow and a custom light fixture finishes the design.

To breathe new life into their outdated mid-century modern home and neglected pool, resulting in the dramatic “Sports Enthusiasts’ Hideaway.” The transformative journey focused on opening the interior spaces out toward the beautiful gardens and amenities. The renewed house features expanded open-plan living areas, a new bedroom, and a reimagined primary bath. An attached ADU added a sports bar and a flexible office space that can double as a private guest bedroom. The outdoor spaces were brought to life with the addition of expansive decks, inviting patios, a horseshoe pit, a basketball half-court, refreshing plunge pools, and a lush sports lawn. A pool house artfully frames the view from the pool to the neighboring golf course. This family of five finds themselves immersed in their expanded home and experiential outdoor hideaway. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to cater to their favorite activities, providing a peaceful haven where they can fully indulge their shared passion for sports. While the owners liked their original home and loved its location, they were in need of additional space and custom touches for their active family. Through our X-Act 3D Design we were able to show them what their home could be! They loved the new plan that added a cozy porch with fireplace, custom built-in bunk room with bath, huge activities court with golf simulator overlooked by a custom bar up top, and another ensuite with a great view — all blended seamlessly into their original home! We delivered on the plan and now they are ready for a quick game of hoops, extended family stays, and entertaining! What an incredible transformation!

Inspired by the majesty of the Northern Lights and this family's everlasting love for Disney, this home plays host to enlighteningly open vistas and playful activity.
