The Santa Cruz is our most popular surface mount sink. This rectangular copper sink is hand hammered from recycled copper by master artisans. Through years of skill and experience passed down from previous generations, the end result is a one-of-a-kind work of art. Made from 16 gauge copper, the beautiful Santa Cruz has a warm antique finish with an apron allowing for quick drop-in installation. Copper is amazingly easy to maintain. Fingerprints do not show as they will on stainless steel and other metals. For basic cleaning, simply use soap and water. Laboratory testing has shown that, when cleaned regularly, a copper surface continuously kills disease-causing bacteria, achieving 99.9% reduction within two hours of exposure. Copper has a "living finish" and its patina will continue to develop character over time, meaning it will become a richer, darker color. The patina creates a unique look of light and dark tones complementing each other. AFTER PHOTO- Glass counter top with LED lighting turned on. The radiant Aquamarine glass upper counter on the island is from Glass by Pental. We added LED lighting beneath the glass counter which can be switched on whenever the client want a splash of color for when company comes or add more light into the room. The other slab counters are Esmeralda Rose granite on the perimeter of kitchen, as well as the lower island counter next to the cook top.

Inspiration for a modern family room remodel in Orange County

Arched openings and an arched niche in this foyer are complemented by recessed coffered ceiling details creating a repetitive lighting pattern. Wood crown and j-mouldings outline the recessed coffered details and are painted in a higher sheen ceiling color to pick up some reflections from the lighting. LED downlighting is used throughout this new home, augmented with many decorative light fixtures (sconces and pendants) to create a layering of light options. Fire sprinklers were carefully located to blend, but still meet the building code regulations.

A set of custom made hand carved doors look like an original antique. The doors add an old world style separating the rooms, finished on both sides they are stunning when they are open or closed.

Living Wood Design collaborated on a custom live edge black walnut dining table with Allison Babcock, a Sag Harbor, NY designer with an elegant approach to interior design. This live edge black walnut table was handcrafted in Living Wood Design's Muskoka, Ontario studio, with custom made modern white steel base and shipped to Sag Harbor. This contemporary dining table perfectly complements the interior in this beautiful renovation.
