NYC's Sophisticated Interior Design Firm

With more than 20 years of experience, Sara Bengur Interiors, the New York-based design firm, designs sophisticated, warm spaces that reflect the multi-cultural background of its founder, Sara Bengur. Sara, the daughter of a Turkish economist with the International Monetary Fund, she spent her formative years in Washington DC; Istanbul, Turkey; and Maine. Sara has completed residential interiors in Manhattan, and the Hamptons, New York; Connecticut; Vermont; Massachusetts; Maine; Miami, Florida; and the French West Indies. Her projects range from new construction to remodeling. Sara starts by understanding clients' needs in order to create a comfortable and elegant interior that reflects that client's personality and lifestyle in every aspect of the interior. From custom upholstery and window treatments to antique textiles and one-of-a-kind pieces discovered here and abroad, Sara and her associates select or craft each detail of every interior specifically for its future occupants. The result is interiors of great visual depth, complexity, and personality but also great ease, comfort, and accessibility.
