Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the Craftsman/Prairie style is one of the few truly American architectural styles. Custom steel shelves are cantilevered from a grey lacquered millwork wall. All of the computer peripherals are stored inside the white oak cabinets. A cable management system and integrated power inside the cabinet and on the desk top keep the surfaces clear or clutter.

A mix of bottles, boxes, brushes, and brooms stay organized and hidden inside cabinets, presenting a clean face to the world. Steel tracks inside the door hold moveable wire baskets and hooks, and cabinet shelves are positioned to keep baskets from bumping when you close the door.

A Stunning and Functional Work Space Designing a custom desk and bookshelf with storage cabinets was key to creating a beautiful and functional work space. Taking cues from the living spaces we continued the simple palette of warm white oak, cream, black, and camel leather and paired it with the luscious green of the stunning Petros Koublis photograph to create a sophisticated space that feels cozy and inviting. The end result is a visually stunning room that invites moments of respite along with work. Inspiration for a large timeless home design remodel in San Diego

Location: Brooklyn, NY, United States This brand-new townhouse at Pierhouse, Brooklyn was a gorgeous space, but was crying out for some personalization to reflect our clients vivid, sophisticated and lively design aesthetic. Bold Patterns and Colors were our friends in this fun and eclectic project. Our amazing clients collaborated with us to select the fabrics for the den's custom Roche Bobois Mah Jong sofa and we also customized a vintage swedish rug from Doris Leslie Blau. for the Living Room Our biggest challenge was to capture the space under the Staircase so that it would become usable for this family. We created cubby storage, a desk area, coat closet and oversized storage. We even managed to fit in a 12' ladder - not an easy feat! Photographed by: James Salomon
