In this project we have transformed an intimate backyard into a high-end patio including: artificial grass, stepping stones, stamp concrete, custom made fire –pit with a concrete bench, Alumawood patio cover with canopy, lighting and electric outlets.

Located in Highland Park, Texas just off the Katy Trail, is this outdoor patio project that took a stale, harsh exterior space and turned it into an inviting and private space for the owner to enjoy. The project featured custom planters, led lighting, privacy screen plantings, ipe wood deck and an outdoor fire pit with comfortable exterior furniture for relaxing and entertaining.

This clean simple, gas fire pit features and adjoining masonry seat wall and bluestone patio with triple stretcher border of clay pavers. The Oakfield veneer stone matches the masonry on the nearby home as does the custom cut Bedford caps. Up to 12-16 people have regularly gathered round this fire pit, warming out client's spirit.

This late 70's ranch style home was recently renovated with a clean, modern twist on the ranch style architecture of the existing residence. AquaTerra was hired to create the entire outdoor environment including the new pool and spa. Similar to the renovated home, this aquatic environment was designed to take a traditional pool and gives it a clean, modern twist. The site proved to be perfect for a long, sweeping curved water feature that can be seen from all of the outdoor gathering spaces as well as many rooms inside the residence. This design draws people outside and allows them to explore all of the features of the pool and outdoor spaces. Features of this resort like outdoor environment include: -Play pool with two lounge areas with LED lit bubblers -Pebble Tec Pebble Sheen Luminous series pool finish -Lightstreams glass tile -spa with six custom copper Bobe water spillway scuppers -water feature wall with three custom copper Bobe water scuppers -Fully automated with Pentair Equipment -LED lighting throughout the pool and spa -Gathering space with automated fire pit -Lounge deck area -Synthetic turf between step pads and deck -Gourmet outdoor kitchen to meet all the entertaining needs. A firepit patio built into the hillside, retains as well as provides additional seating in this beautiful space. Xeriscape plantings and careful planning to disturb the hillside as little as possible, allow the space to feel like it really belongs here.

This was a large installation project. We installed a fountain, retaining wall, fire pit, artificial turf, and travertine pavers. The result is a beautiful entertaining area. The small firepit will add both warmth and light to the seating area. The sound of cascading water from the fountain provides an excellent audible enhancement. The artificial turf makes an ideal area for family and friends to stretch their legs after a meal or while enjoying a drink.

Modern built-in concrete seating area includes custom made couch cushions and a geometric fire pit. Surrounded by synthetic grass and flagstone, this side yard uses neutral colors to highlight the Santa Barbara view. Waterwise landscaping surrounds the yard. Stone edging is used to separate turf and gravel.
