This detached garage uses vertical space for smart storage. A lift was installed for the owners' toys including a dirt bike. A full sized SUV fits underneath of the lift and the garage is deep enough to site two cars deep, side by side. Additionally, a storage loft can be accessed by pull-down stairs. Trex flooring was installed for a slip-free, mess-free finish. The outside of the garage was built to match the existing home while also making it stand out with copper roofing and gutters. A mini-split air conditioner makes the space comfortable for tinkering year-round. The low profile garage doors and wall-mounted opener also keep vertical space at a premium.

Enveloped by walls of wood and white, the living room exudes the style of an opulent hotel lobby. A wood-panelled feature wall echoes the warmth of the wooden floor, while plush, indigo armchairs inject regal splendour into the otherwise understated colour palette. Abstract aqua artwork and classic wall mouldings serve as emblems of imperial charm, lending epochal character to the contemporary decor scheme.

Location: Denver, CO, USA THE CHALLENGE: Elevate a modern residence that struggled with temperature both aesthetically and physically – the home was cold to the touch, and cold to the eye. THE SOLUTION: Natural wood finishes were added through flooring and window and door details that give the architecture a warmer aesthetic. This project combines high end earthy elements with elegant, modern furnishings. We wanted to re invent the beach house concept and create an home which is not your typical coastal retreat. By combining stronger colors and textures, we gave the spaces a bolder and more permanent feel. Yet, as you travel through each room, you can't help but feel invited and at home.

Loving the angles of the exterior of this house. Shows you that this is truly a custom designed and custom built home. Working off the foundation of this home also required a lot of construction that even though the drawings had one thing, had to be tweaked to make it work. Wanting to save the foundation of the home made it a bit of a struggle but in the end, it sure looks good!
