This custom IKEA kitchen remodel started with redesigning the cabinet layout, installing new hardwood flooring throughout, and then installation the IKEA cabinetry with custom IKEA fronts, panels, and trim work. The solid butcherblock floating shelves were enforced with steel rods welded to steel plates connecting to the wall studs; those shelves will never drop due to any weight restrictions.

The Keaton's architectural lines are current and trimmed with nailheads to channel a dose of tradition within a modern silhouette. Recessed track arms and shelter-like style provide a clean and comfortable surface for lounging. James, the big barrel-back wing leather chair, features beautifully curving wings, a button tufted back, tight seat, and petite roll arms. Wraparound barrel back creates a cozy shelter effect. Next to it we feature our stunning accent table in a sleek combination of organic and modern materials.The polished petrified-wood top rests on a slender tri-leg polished stainless steel base. At the center we have our curved slatted, polished-stainless-steel frame and a smoked-glass top Vega cocktail table. Our Markam bookcases feature an eye-catching asymmetrical arrangement of shelves that will add interest to your displays. Finally, to help layer in texture and pattern we feature the new Skyler rug.

This Paradise Valley stunner was a down-to-the-studs renovation. The owner, a successful business woman and owner of Bungalow Scottsdale -- a fabulous furnishings store, had a very clear vision. DW's mission was to re-imagine the 1970's solid block home into a modern and open place for a family of three. The house initially was very compartmentalized including lots of small rooms and too many doors to count. With a mantra of simplify, simplify, simplify, Architect CP Drewett began to look for the hidden order to craft a space that lived well. This residence is a Moroccan world of white topped with classic Morrish patterning and finished with the owner's fabulous taste. The kitchen was established as the home's center to facilitate the owner's heart and swagger for entertaining. The public spaces were reimagined with a focus on hospitality. Practicing great restraint with the architecture set the stage for the owner to showcase objects in space. Her fantastic collection includes a glass-top faux elephant tusk table from the set of the infamous 80's television series, Dallas.
