It will be hard to find a more elegant stand on which to display your favorite potted plants than our Peacock Steps Stand. Offering three cascading steps, a short railing on one side, and wonderful scrollwork and diamond-shaped supports that reflect the magnificent plumes of a peacock, this beautifully handcrafted piece is sure to capture attention wherever you place it! Made of sturdy, black powder-coated wrought iron, it's as durable as it is attractive. The Peacock Steps Plant Stand holds two 10-inch pots and one 8-inch pot. Measuring 36 inches wide, 13 inches deep, and 33 inches high, it's small enough to fit most patios, living rooms, or even modestly sized gardening areas, but large enough to create an impressive display anywhere. Many of our customers have oak cabinet boxes. Oak is a hardwood which gives us a sturdy framework to reface. It just isn’t as popular a species anymore because of the heavy graining. Many homeowners have us reface oak cabinets with cherry which is known as “the furniture maker’s wood” for its natural beauty and warmth. Here we also converted the base cabinet left of the range to large drawers for pots and pans.

A great feature of this patio makeover is its new railing system. We used Fortress iron railings in the hammered bronze color. These iron railings are sturdy and much thinner than the home’s original cedar railings, and they don’t obstruct the beautiful views of the valley and the river below. It’s almost as though you can see right through them. We like this particular style of railing because of its hammered look with dimples and ribbons in the bronze color. It adds a vintage-inspired appeal and at the same time keeps a low profile. What’s more, it’s forgiving because it already looks “hammered.” You can’t hurt it!
