We know you aren't supposed to have favorites, but this stunning kitchen remodel is definitely one of ours! This project is truly custom. From the Ultracraft painted maple cabinetry perimeter and the Durasupreme slightly contrasting island, to the Shiloh Rift Cut Oak open shelving. The hood was built in the field by one of our amazing contractors. We selected satin brass for the hardware and fixtures, as well as a 2.5" thick porcelain countertop. We are so happy with the finished product!

This landscape is based on a painting by pioneering abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky. The Art Garden method of Landscape Design is a process where the outdoor environment's design is based on the the work of a specific artist or work of art, or incorporates multiple art forms into the space, including sculpture, music, dance, performance art and experiential elements. The swirling shape of the front stones give the composition a sense of movement, while the variegated Sedum offer a structural contrast to the red wall, and can tolerate the hot dry microclimate of stone mulch and the concrete wall. Behind the wall is a massing of Hay Scented Fern, a lush bright green contrast to the red wall. The red arching wall offers a high contrast backdrop to the sculptural fire pit, which is a cast iron sugar kettle from South Carolina. It’s rim sits on top of two of the boulders, while fitting into a notch of the third boulder, creating an asymmetrical, funky balance, typical of Kandinsky’s work.

Residential space in North Park's newest building by Jeff Svitak. Space was decorated for a couple who support local artists and love music. We started with a soft velvet sofa (color: moss) that instantly softened this large concrete space. While working around this sofa, we came across the walnut furniture set - it blended right in with the earthy feel we were going for. Plants have a power of bringing any space to life so we added the intertwining money tree and a soft green tree (supposed to be a fast grower). Once the furnishings were in, we added the artwork - a final touch to make this space a client's home. photo - Hale Productions

This house originally had ivory colored siding, and brown shutters, with a plain garage door. There was only one light above a plain front doorway. Changes include Hardie plank siding in a more muted and deeper value of brown (a Hardie color), new garage door in two colors, new weathered wood roof shingles, a new door and trim around the door, new shutters in a muted blue-green, and two carriage lights on either side of the front door. A coordinating light was added to the garage exterior as well. Bronze mailbox from Frontgate. The front door color is supposed to change, but cold weather had prevented it from being painted at the time this photo was taken. Shows the deck after two coats of Sherwin Williams (3018 Salem Red) SuperDeck Exterior Deck Stain. It rained less than 24 hours after the stain job was complete. As you can see, the stain is able to repel the rain the way it is supposed to be.

Ruthie and her husband were born overseas and traveled the world together. Their home is an expression of the things that they love and have collected over the years. With touches of Africa and a definite global flair throughout the home, their home is eclectic, relaxed and certainly collected. They realize that not everyone loves this style, but home is suppose to be what YOU love. Ruthie loves a mix of styles and is comfortable with some rooms being more eclectic and others more traditional. Her home is her palette to express her design aesthetic and experiment with things she loves.

Updating of this Venice Beach bungalow home was a real treat. Timing was everything here since it was supposed to go on the market in 30day. (It took us 35days in total for a complete remodel). The corner lot has a great front "beach bum" deck that was completely refinished and fenced for semi-private feel. The entire house received a good refreshing paint including a new accent wall in the living room. The kitchen was completely redo in a Modern vibe meets classical farmhouse with the labyrinth backsplash and reclaimed wood floating shelves. Notice also the rugged concrete look quartz countertop. A small new powder room was created from an old closet space, funky street art walls tiles and the gold fixtures with a blue vanity once again are a perfect example of modern meets farmhouse.

Custom cabinets painted in Sherwin Williams, "Deep Sea Dive" adorn the hard working combined laundry and mud room. The encaustic cement tile does overtime in durability and theatrics.

Waterfront home in Miami Beach that we supplied the authentic florida keystone tiles. notice the natural patina that occurs over time, now this is what a coral stone pool deck is suppose to look like NICE. The islands of the Lower Keys in the Florida Keys, as well as some barrier islands east of Miami bordering Biscayne Bay, are mainly oolitic limestone, which was formed by deposition when shallow seas covered the area between periods of glaciation. The material consolidated and eroded during later exposure above the ocean surface.

All Weather teamed up with the Property Brothers and actress and comedian Ali Wong on this week’s episode of HGTV’s hit show Celebrity IOU. In the Ali Wong’s Renovation Surprise for A Dear Friend episode, Ali takes sledgehammers and crowbars into her own hands to help transform her best friend, Citadelle’s barren basement and backyard into the perfect indoor-outdoor entertaining space. Ali credits much of her early success to her best friend, Citadelle, whose tireless support helped her when she first started out in Los Angeles. “I really wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for her,” noted Ali. Citadelle opened up space in her home for Ali while she went on auditions. So years later, Ali knew it was time to give back in a big way. “Her friendship has been such a gift” said Ali. “I was supposed to stay there for two weeks and it ended up being a year.” With the help of Drew and Jonathan Scott, Ali was determined to update the entire lower level of Citadelle’s home inside and out and making these spaces as entertainment-friendly as possible for the whole family, including Citadelle’s husband and kids, to enjoy. The multipurpose downstairs basement makeover included turning the family room into a classy lounge with a built in bar, removing the basic stand up shower and replacing it with a luxurious spa tub with stone tiles and converting the guest bedroom into “an office by day and bedroom by night” courtesy of a hidden pull down Murphy bed. All Weather Series 7000 French Swing Doors extend and connect the indoor lounge area to the new outdoor living spaces. The ultimate backyard includes a stylish fireplace, white pergola, outdoor seating and dining area, an outdoor kitchen/grill and new turf for the yard and play structure areas. What was supposed to be a tile repair and new window turned into reframing a wall, new insulation, and doing double the amount of tile. Customer's prior tile work was not waterproofed and there were no tiles along the inside of the window. It did not take long for water to get in and destroy everything. We added a new window, repainted the walls and ceiling, framed a new portion of the wall in place, insulation, replaced some of the original tiles, and did a new accent wall and window tile surround.
