I live for moments of grace, such as classical music, beautiful china, fine art, and textiles.
This home is a testament of this philosophy, with an eclectic mix of the fine and the understated. Next to a work of irreplaceable fine art is hung a tapestry from Turkey, purchased in a market for pennies. On display, collections of fine Herend china and exquisite Limoges boxes sit alongside some of HomeGoods’ best ceramic offerings.
In this home, I’m inspired by textiles and fabrics, different dimensions, mixes of color, history, and artistic focal points; but most of all I am inspired by the intangible feeling of a piece.

This is the Library/ Dining Room. Multi purpose rooms make a lot of sense in Manhattan. Most of the year this is a Library /Sitting Room. The children can watch TV here and there's plenty of space for putting your feet up on the ottoman and relaxing. On those occasions when the space becomes a Dining Room ; some changes take place.
1. The drop leaf table is moved from the wall to the center of the room.
2. The two demi-lune tables are brought from the Living Room and put at each end of the table.
3. The two teal colored arm chairs become Host chairs.
4. Tapestry covered side chairs are brought from the Foyer and placed at the
table.
And Voila! We're ready for a formal dinner!

The difference in textures, from the smooth leather to the velvety tapestry, illustrate the devil is in the details, down to the smallest stitch.

Embracing the challenge of grounding this open, light-filled space, our Boulder studio focused on comfort, ease, and high design. The built-in lounge is flanked by storage cabinets for puzzles and games for this client who loves having people over. The high-back Living Divani sofa is paired with U-Turn Benson chairs and a "Rabari" rug from Nanimarquina for casual gatherings. The throw pillows are a perfect mix of Norwegian tapestry fabric and contemporary patterns. In the child's bedroom, we added an organically shaped Vitra Living Tower, which also provides a cozy reading niche. Bold Marimekko fabric colorfully complements more traditional detailing and creates a contrast between old and new. We loved collaborating with our client on an eclectic bedroom, where everything is collected and combined in a way that allows distinctive pieces to work together. A custom walnut bed supports the owner's tatami mattress. Vintage rugs ground the space and pair well with a vintage Scandinavian chair and dresser.
Combining unexpected objects is one of our favorite ways to add liveliness and personality to a space. In the little guest bedroom, our client (a creative and passionate collector) was the inspiration behind an energetic and eclectic mix. Similarly, turning one of our client's favorite old sweaters into pillow covers and popping a Native American rug on the wall helped pull the space together. Slightly eclectic and invitingly cozy, the twin guestroom beckons for settling in to read, nap or daydream. A vintage poster from Omnibus Gallery in Aspen and an antique nightstand add period whimsy.

While changing baby you still get a perfect view of the adorable wall tapestry and Caden Lane crib bedding. Plus, that gorgeous beaded chandelier is the perfect light fixture! Boho accents adorn the wall next to the changing station in the perfect pink and coral accent colors.

The original vaulted-ceiling family room was thoughtfully preserved as the intimate heart of this luxury great room, naturally defining a comfortable seating arrangement centered on the fireplace and television. Beyond the conversation area, a vintage Italian game table creates an elegant destination for entertaining and family gatherings. Surrounded by bespoke chairs upholstered in rich leather and fine tapestry fabric, the game table adds European character, artisanal craftsmanship, and timeless sophistication. Carefully positioned behind one of the custom sofas, this inviting vignette seamlessly blends heritage furnishings with modern luxury, creating a warm, functional space designed for relaxation, conversation, and memorable entertaining.
